Tadika adalah kata singkat untuk taman didikan kanak berumur antara 4 hingga 6 tahun. Tadika adalah sebuah institusi pendidikan social kerana menyediakan aktiviti pembelajaran akademik yang berasaskan mata pelajaran dan belajar untuk berkomunikasi, bersosial dan pelbagai aktiviti yang positif.

1.    Pendidikan adalah satu proses berterusan ke arah memperkembangkan potensi individu secara menyeluruh dan bersepadu untuk mewujudkan insan yang harmonis dan seimbang dari segi intelek, rohani, emosi dan jasmani berdasarkan kepercayaan dan kepatuhan kepada Allah.

 

2.    Di Malaysia kita mempunyai Kurikulum Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak, Kurikulum Pendidikan Rendah dan Kurikulum Pendidikan Menengah.

 

 

3.    (a) Kita boleh dapati ada kanak-kanak yang cepat dan lambat dalam akademik mahupun sosial. Iaitu anak tipikal dan anak berkeperluan khas (ABK). Kategori ABK adalah seperti Autism, Disleksia, Speech Delay, Sindrom down dan Cerebal palsy.

(b) Aspirasi murid adalah berpengetahuan, kemahiran berfikir, kemahiran memimpin, kemahiran dwibahasa, etika dan kerohanian dan identiti Nasional.

(c) Kekuatan yang ada pada kanak-kanak adalah gaya pemikiran mereka.

(d) Melalui pendidikan dan sosial seperti kemahiran manipulatif iaitu kemahiran melibatkan motor halus dan kasar dan kemahiran literasi awal iaitu segala maklumat mengenai membaca dan menulis yang diketahui oleh kanak-kanak sebelum mereka boleh membaca dan menulis.

4.    Guru perlu mempunyai peribadi yang mulia, berpengetahuan dan kemahiran tinggi, kreatif, mampu berkomunikasi dengan berkesan dan kenalpasti kekuatan dan kelemahan kanak-kanak.

Purpose of Education

 

           In relation to the human and the social, the relationship between humans was not initially known to one another. Sociology emerged in the 19th century, as an academic response. Sociologists, through science, can understand, forge unity between us, to shape the morals of society.

 

          Purpose of Education, education is seen as an optimistic human endeavour in achieving progress and prosperity. Education is also a place for children to grow according to their needs and potential. Education aims to develop each individual as a potential to achieve as much as possible in their lives, maintaining social stability through social production.

 

          Commitment to promoting thinking skills on the agenda explores the various possibilities of ideas and creations in making informed decisions. Students' creative thinking is enhanced, they can make the right decisions, they can come up with the right ideas, correct opinions and critical and creative views, they can face the latest challenges. Stimulate and sharpen their thinking for the better. It creates a high level of curiosity and gives them the space to share ideas. Children need to be stimulated through a range of skills such as thinking skills, motor skills, speaking skills, writing skills, reading skills and counting skills. They also need to be in JERIS which is as follows:

         The strength of each student depends on what is around them. We as teachers can leverage their skills by guiding them, step by step as an example of leadership spirit, giving them space and opportunity to lead among their peers, giving them creative freedom such as doing something creative. A good way of communicating, where we encourage them to be bolder in the face to tell, is to give their opinion. Being responsible for all things, like being honest when doing anything and being responsible for it. Be responsible for yourself and others. Encourage them to be responsible and to complete whatever tasks they are given. It gives them the opportunity to interact boldly and express themselves. Teachers need to be trusting in students because in kindergarten teachers are second parents after home because first teachers are their parents.

             Teachers need to be creative in guiding children in their communication techniques, always thinking creatively in delivering engaging ideas in teaching and learning techniques. Always cultivate a love for children so that they feel safe and secure, able to convey knowledge well and perfectly. Teachers need to be constantly optimistic and innovative in delivering something so that children can learn something quality. They need to deliver into what is in the child's mind so that they can understand the child's world. Teachers need to be role models to them so that every good thing they show is an example to them.

 

As kindergarten becomes more academic, many parents look to preschool to launch their child on the path to success in school. At the same time, parents may worry that the current trend to focus on pre-math and pre-literacy skills in preschool cuts into important play time and pushes a child to grow up too fast. It’s a confusing issue,especially with friends and family offering different opinions and advice.

Fortunately, in selecting a preschool, parents aren’t forced to choose between protecting a child’s play time and making sure she’s ready for kindergarten. A high-quality early childhood education program will offer children both.

 2.We have curriculum to develop young minds. 
Preschool education is viewed as an important experience for each child in Malaysia (Ministry of Education ,1998). The Standard National Preschool Curriculum (KSPK) was the guidelines used in most of the government preschools including public andprivate preschools in Malaysia. All preschools including public and private sectors are to follow all the guidelines stated in Standard National Preschool Curriculum (SNPC) issued by Malaysia Ministry of Education (MOE) on 2010.

Preschool helps develop motor skills.

We provide Physical coordination improves, allowing the child to explore her environment and to challenge herself-in new ways. Young children are in motion for a good part of the day. High-quality preschool programs provide several opportunities daily for children to run, climb, and play active games. Activities are offered to help children develop fine motor skills, such as threading beads or cutting with scissors. And children are challenged through a variety of activities to build their hand-eye coordination and balance.

4. Guru. What types of teachers needed to develop these brainy kids.
Kindergarten teachers are similar to preschool teachers because they work with young children. Some of these children have attended preschool, so they have learned what it is like to spend time in a classroom. For others, kindergarten is their first real experience with school. That means teachers must be prepared to work with children who have different levels of knowledge and social skills. Those who are shy or afraid require more of a teacher’s time, until they become comfortable around other children.

Kindergarten teacher Elaine Kuegler says that her biggest challenge is to help her students excel in tasks they feel they cannot do, as well as the tasks they enjoy. Also, she finds it challenging to keep the advanced students busy and interested while she helps others learn basic math and reading skills.

 

 

 

To provide learning experiences to nurture children's potential in all areas of development, skills and fostering positive attitudes. It is also to develop the potential of children as a whole and to be integrated in their physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social aspects through a safe learning environment. Not only that, education also can make a person behave well and always want to please God in every way he does. With the knowledge gained, a person will always do good things in their life so that they can find their reward in the hereafter.

 

 

Curriculum is also used as a medium to convey knowledge that includes skills, norms, values, cultural elements, and beliefs so that we can help children in their physical, spiritual, mental and emotional development as well as instill and enhance their moral values.

 

 

Every child is not born equal and they differ from one another. Some are gifted with natural talents from birth and some need to be polished and trained to achieve what they want. Their learning style is also not the same. Some of them learn it through visual or auditory or kinesthetic. The personality of a child also differs from one another. It can be Extrovert, Introvert & Ambivert. So as educators, we need to know how to cope and apply effective ways of learning for children. In addition, a person's behavior can also be identified through their multiple intelligence. So, teachers can apply in their learning & teaching by identifying their multiple intelligences. Thus, through these teaching and learning methods, educators are able to develop children skills, creativity, communication and leadership to serve as useful and useful human beings to their surroundings as well as good servants to their Creator.

Teachers are examples for  student. So, as a teacher must form a dignified personality, have knowledge not only of the world but also knowledge of the afterlife so that the knowledge gained by the student can be a useful person and a good servant for his Creator. Teachers also need to be creative in science & technology. Teachers also need to be good leaders in order to produce a good leader, wonderful and glorious generations.

Pendidikan ialah sebuah medium yang penting. Pendidikan terbahagi kepada dua iaitu pendidikan formal Dan pendidikan tidak formal. Saya memilih TASKA kerana saya bekerja Di TASKA. TASKA ialah Taman Asuhan Kanak Kanak yang terdiri daripada kanak-kanak yang berumur 0 hingga 4 tahun. Tujuan Pendidikan Dalam institusi TASKA memainkan peranan yang sangat penting. Pendidikan Di awal usia memberi impak yang besar kepada kanak-kanak. Diantaranya mentaksir kepada perkembangan Dan pertumbuhan Kanak Kanak.

Kurikulum Yang digunakan Di TASKA ialah PERMATA. 
 Objektif Kurikulum Permata Negara adalah untuk menyediakan garis panduan kepada pendidik melaksanakan kurikulum ini kepada Kanak Kanak.

Membina emosi, akhlak dan spiritual kanak-kanak untuk melahirkan individu yang bersahsiah mulia, tenang, ceria, bersopan santun, penyayang berempati dan adil.

Membina kemahiran interpersonal dan sosial yang baik untu membolehkan kanak-kanak bergaul dalam masyarakat pelbagai budaya.

Membimbing kanak-kanak menguasai kemahiran awal bahasa, berkomunikasi dan literasi dalam Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Ibunda

Aktiviti yang melibatkan perkembangan asas seperti motor kasar, motor halus, perkembangan fizikal, sahsiah dan sosioemosi. Perkembangan ini boleh diukur untuk melihat perkembangan Yang baik.
 Kanak- Kanak bersosial antara satu Sama lain secara tidak langsung dapat membentuk kreativiti, kepimpinan antara rakan sebaya, berlakunya komunikasi tanpa limitasi serta tanggungjawab.

 Kemahiran ini dapat dibentuk Dalam aktiviti-aktiviti  Yang disediakn oleh pendidik-pendidik.

Oleh itu, guru perlulah mempunyai keperibadian yang baik dalam mendidik.Selain itu, seorang guru perlulah kreatif dan berpengetahuan dalam pembelajaran agar kanak-kanak tidak berasa  bosan. Guru juga perlu banyak bersabar dan mewujudkan komunikasi yang baik dalam melayani kerenah setiap kanak-kanak.

1- The purpose of education: 

- The purpose of education to stimulate and develop to nurturing and a love of learning. However, early childhood education beneficial for children ages 3,4 and 5. This will teach the children about their life skills. Education is not just for today and tomorrow. It’s like life course. This will help the children to find a solution to the problem. It also will teach the children steps and process while increasing confidence. This purpose also helps the children to learn and develop their own skills like how to communicate with others, how to be socialise with friends, and it stimulate the brain when learn something new, it also increased health and wellness, physical and emotional when doing fun activities like sports day, swimming or movement activities like dancing. This education also will help the children live their best lives by having fun while learning, create some memories with the teachers and friends by having photo session together, colouring activities, drawing and art activities to create fun in school together.

 

 

2- Curriculum to develop young mind 

 

- Curriculum Montessori carried different way of teaching by emphasizes learning as a process that cannot be determined by a child’s age, it determine by the rate and speed at which a child can acquire one skills before moving on to other skills. It also has been supported by many as an ideal of learning environment for children from primary to elementary grade level that the children can learn many things like language, physical, sensorial, mathematics and Islamic too. From that the children are to be respected for their individuality and children have an intrinsic motivation to learn and will do so if give the right resources and opportunities for them to learn something new and develop their skills. 

 

3- Student, what kind of student that we have. What is our aspiration towards them, What is their strength. How to develop their soft skills, (leadership, creativity, communication, responsibility) 

- Each of the children are born with different ways of personality, some of them were born natural that everything that he or she have is perfect. The children develop the early learning makes clear and important and complex of working with your children because they can pick up very fast when the learn something new. Some children can recognise what they have learn at school and memorise back so that they can tell their parents what have they learn. However, some children using emotional and feelings when they wants to express something from that they also learn about emotions when they like or do not like something. Lastly children also can show their own skills by their drawing, colouring and art that they do. Sometimes the children like to be cared by the adults so that they will feel safe and secured with an attention that we give to them.

In this modern, digital age, teachers need to be flexible and able to adapt to whatever is thrown their way. Likewise, administrators are changing and updating expectations and learning standards. Whether it’s to the way students learn, the behaviour their classroom exhibits, or their lesson plans, being able to adapt is a skill that every modern teacher must have.

Every teacher needs to have confidence, not only in themselves but in their students and their colleagues. A confident person inspires others to be confident, and a teacher’s confidence can help influence others to be a better person.

Being able to communicate with not only your students but with parents and staff is an essential skill. Think about it: almost all of a teacher’s day is spent communicating with students and colleagues, so it is crucial to be able to talk clearly and concisely in order to get your point across.

Teaching is a lifelong learning process. The world is always changing, along with the curriculum and educational technology, so it’s up to you, the teacher, to keep up with it. A teacher who is always willing to go that extra mile to learn will always be an effective, successful teacher.

The most effective tool a teacher can use is their imagination. Teachers need to be creative and think of unique ways to keep their students engaged in learning, especially now that many states have implemented the Common Core Learning Standards into their curriculum. Many teachers are of the opinion that these standards are taking all of the creativity and fun out of learning, so teachers are finding imaginative ways to make learning fun again.

Modern teachers have the ability to organise and prepare for the unknown. They are always ready for anything that is thrown their way. Need to go home sick? No problem, they have a substitute folder all ready to go. Studies show that organised teachers foster more effective learning environments. So it is even more imperative to be organised if you want higher-achieving students.

Why tadika / taska can be called as a social instituition of education.

 

1.       The purpose of education

Tujuan pendidikan adalah untuk mendedahkan dan membangunkan  semangat cinta akan pembelajaran.  Pendidikan bukan untuk hari ini dan esok malah ia juga untuk sepanjang hayat. Tujuan pendidikan jua untuk pembangunan holistic, keperluan sosial, emosi, kognitif dan fizikal kanak – kanak untuk membina asas yang kukuh dan luas untuk pembelajaran Pendidikan awal kanak – kanak terbahagi kepada dua peringkat iaitu peringkat pertama untuk kanak kanak yang  berusia 3 dan 4 tahun dibawah pendidikan kanak – kanak di Taman Asuhan Kanak – kanak (Taska) dan peringkat kedua iaitu untuk kanak - kanak berusia 5 dan 6 tahun dibawah pendidikan kanak – kanak di Taman Didikan Kanak – kanak ( Tadika).

i.                     Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan

Berdasarkan Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan, sebagai guru kita hendaklah membina emosi, akhlak dan spiritual kanak – kanak untuk melahirkan individu yang bersahsiah mulia, berdisiplin, bersopan santun, menghormati satu sama lain dan bersifat ceria dan mempunyai sifat empati didalam diri. Selain itu, mengembangkan kemahiran motor halus dan kemahiran motor kasar serta meningkatkan koordinasi mata kanak – kanak.

 

3.       Student. What kind of student that have. What is our aspiration towards them, what is their strength. How to develop their soft skills, (leadership, creativity, communication, responsibility)

Setiap kanak – kanak dilahirkan tidak sama dan mempunyai keistimewaan masing masing. Seperti kita lihat, ibubapa sekarang suka membandingkan anak anaknya kerana mereka tidak faham kanak kanak adalah dilahirkan berbeza. Terdapat kanak – kanak yang cepat belajar dan ada yang lambat. Terdapat beberapa jenis cara pembelajaran kanak – kanak iaitu dengan menerusi visual, audio dan kinestatik. Saya mempunyai kanak – kanak yang sentiasa hendak berjalan didalam kelas sewaktu pembelajaran, apabila membuat aktiviti bersemuka beliau dapat menangkap apa yang telah saya ajar didalam kelas. Guru hendaklah menerapkan lebih banyak aktiviti yang melibatkan kemahiran motor halus dan kasar bagi menguatkan otot – otot tangan dan kaki serta koordinasi mata kanak – kanak. Selain itu juga, guru juga haruslah membuat pemerhatian terhadap kanak- kanak yang berpotensi untuk diasah bakat dan terus diasah biar bakat yang mereka ada dihargai dan mampu digunakan dengan sebetulnya. Jika ada kanak – kanak yang pandai bercakap dan sangat aktif jadikan ia sebagai ketua dalam kelompok didalam kelas.ia akan rasa dihargai. 

4.       Teacher. What type of teacher needed to develop these brainy kids.

i.  Ilmu yang berpanjangan

Seorang guru ibarat sedang belajar bersama sama kanak – kanak, dalam ia mengajar dibelajar mengenal, memahami dan menyampaikan ilmu yang padanya dan kanak – kanak juga baru untuk dipelajari. Ilmu apabila kita cari, ia akan berterusan sehinggakan kita hendak mendalaminya lagi. Begitu juga dengan sifat kanak – kanak, apabila kita mendalami, memahami mak kita akankasih dan sayang dengan ikhlas. 

ii.   Keyakinan.

Seorang guru perlulah bersifat berkeyakinan bukan untuk diri mereka sendiri, malah untuk kanak – kanak serta rakan kerja. Keyakinan yang muncul dalam diri kita mungkin akan menjadikan satu suntikan semangat kepada kanak – kanak yang melihat cara pengajaran yang berkarisma, suasana yang ceria dan sentiasa memberi pujian kepada kanak – kanak. 

iii.   Komunikasi

Guru hendaklah berkomunikasi menggunakan ayat dan bahasa yang mudah serta tidak mempunyai unsur yang buruk. Ini kerana kanak – kanak adalah insan yang mudah menerima input dengan mudah. Kita hendaklah berkomunikasi menggunakan perkataan yang baik, jelas dan mudah bagi memberi contoh yang baik kepada kanak – kanak.

Kanak – kanak dengan imaginasi tidak dapat dipisahkan kerana difasa sekarang imaginasi mereka tinggi sehinggakan kita sebagai guru tidak dapat membayangkan tahap imaginasi mereka. Didalam waktu pembelajaran, guru hendaklah masuk kedalam dunia imaginasi mereka agar pembelajaran tersebut akan diingat dan berjalan dengan penuh kegembiran kerana minat mereka tidak ditarik oleh guru.

1)    The purpose of education

 

Early Childhood Education is a period that refers to educational programs and strategies geared toward children from birth to the age of six. This education is important to the development of a child and significantly shape the later years of individual’s life.  Early childhood education often focuses on guiding children to learn through play. The term commonly refers to preschool or infant or child care programs.

 

2)    We have curriculum to develop 

 

Montessori curriculum is designed to be an individualized program and is unique for each child. Montessori offers a prepared environment that fosters each child’s independence, as well as helps him or she develop socially and academically. Children are free to explore and discover on their own, however, there are very clear boundaries and ground rules that must be adhered to and are monitored by the teacher. The teacher is the first and very important part of the prepared environment. Montessori classrooms are thought of more as communities than classrooms. They must be cooperative in order for the method to work. Montessori education is a preparation for life. Independence, confidence, and an inquiring mind are the results of this education, achieved through a sense of order and respect. Montessori is a sensorial education and the children are effortlessly able to classify and categorize their world through the work in the prepared environment of the Montessori classroom. The work is sequential in order and moves from concrete sensorial experiences to abstract understanding of the world. Montessori prepares the child to be a socially engaged and respectful member of society through these experiences. 

3)    Student - what kind of student that we have, what is our aspiration toward them, what is their strength, how to develop their soft skill? (leadership, creativity, communication, responsibility)

 

Each child is an unique and just perfect on his or her way. Every child has different character; some are fussy, silent, playful or cheeky and so on. Here a teacher plays an important role to shapes them to be strong morally, should respect others and be empathetic, sincere, be independent and responsibility and kind. Our kids may not be taught soft skills in the classroom, but by teaching them these essential skills and incorporating them into daily lives, we may find ourself connecting with the kids over stuff that really matters.

 

4)    Teacher – What types of teachers need to develop these brainy kids?

 

Teacher is not only to teach but is a character educator too helping to shape the character of the kids in contact with.It is in the way we talk, the behaviors we model, the conduct we tolerate, the deeds we encourage, the expectations we transmit. We need to remember that kids do what they see and what they heard. As an early childhood teacher, will be challenged to find new experiences to share with children. Guide children, do not lead them, and move in a direction that interests the child.  As a guide, allow the child to choose their learning and playing style while making safety our number one concern. In addition, teachers must also take care to listen to a child including interpreting words and actions.  Listening carefully helps teachers determine a child's needs and aids in furthering the child's development. The important is teachers do not use “canned” curriculum, teacher manuals, or achievement tests because curriculum emerges based on the interests of the children.

The responsibility of each social structure in a childcare center plays a big role in achieving the center’s purpose. The social structure in a childcare center consist of parents, educators, managerial and operational team and of course the children. Each of this social structure comes from different family background, religion, culture and economic status. This colorful structure requires an effective way of communication in order the childcare center to become a successful social institution for the children. 

As we all agree, childcare center is considered as second home for some children. This is because most of their time in a day are spent in a childcare center. Therefor, there is a big responsibility that the educators, managerial and operational team of a center have to carry on their shoulder in order to achieve the purpose in providing holistic education for the children. But to gain this succeed, parents also need to play their role in continuing and practicing the values and skills that the centers had shared. A high expectation without collaboration of all structure in a social institution will resulting many hiccups and failure. One of the important things that need to be measured is a set of rules and regulation that affecting all structure. A childcare center rules usually consist of what is should and should not be done all parties as well as acts as a tool for an effective communication.

On top of that, everyone in the institution has their specific role. For example, a teacher needs to educate the children and nurtured them and prepare all the lesson plan well before the class start. As for parents, their role in participating in activities that the center has organize and continuing what the teachers has taught their children can make a big change in the result at the end of the day. Thus, in order to be a successful social institution, all parties such as parents, educators and operational team must play their part and work together to achieve the best result in future. 

            As for kindergarten , the purpose is to provide a place for the children with an opportunity to learn , and practice the essential social , emotional , problem – solving , and study skills that the children will use throughout their schooling . Kindergarten also is a place to develop the children self – esteem . Self – esteem is one of the important goals for majority of kindergarten . It is a process to help the children to feel good about who they are and become confident with their ability to tackle all of the learning challenges .Other than that , kindergarten also teach cooperation . Cooperation is an ability to work , learn and get along with the others . Not only among the children but also with adults . The kindergarten provides the children with opportunity to learn patience , the ability to take turns , share and listen to others . Lastly , kindergarten is a time for sparking and directing the children’s curiosity . Most of the children are naturally curios especially when they learn something that they don’t know , but some of them don’t know how to focus or use this curiosity . So the teachers will teach the children on how to spark and directing their curiosity and natural love of learning .

            A social institution consist of people who are abide by the same aspiration , culture , rules and regulation .Therefore , there are a few of the expectation of parents and teachers on the roles of a childcare centers and kindergartens . The expectation are :
