We need the ability to stay in contact and communication with these employees at any time or anywhere. Also, by communication with all of our staff members we can ensure we are getting the broadest amount of ideas and input during meetings and decision making.

Skype allows us to communicate in a multitude of ways, it's really great. From phones, computers and tablets. What's great is it allows full on virtual meetings with voice and video or you can simply text.

It's a professional service, owned and operated by Microsoft, a major tech company. Skype can be used on a multitude of devices. It allows voice and video communications as well as texting for group members that aren't in a situation to go video and voice (drive-thru at McDonald's, Movie Theater, etc.). 

The only downside might be some compatibility with certain devices but I believe this can be solved by ensuring the devices we distribute to our employees have Skype capability. The most major issue will be the use of data. Additionally we can offer a stipend for any employees who use Skype on their personal cellular devices. Soon afterwards we should begin issuing out tablets and / or cell phones to each employee.

After the roll out of devices a training class on Skype will need to be delivered. I believe we can complete this using a YouTube video created by Waking Up staff members.

Once this has been rolled out we should be ready for a "grace" period if you will. Employees will need time to learn the device and program and work with it.
