He then lived till April 27, 1521where he died on he's exploration.Ferdinand Magellan was a Spanish explorer who was hired by Spain. He explored from the years 1519 to 1521. Ferdinand Magellan was sent on his exploration from Spain to go from Europe to Asia by heading west across the Atlantic. At the time everyone thought that the earth was flat till Ferdinand Magellan completes his voyage and proved that the earth has infact round. He was the first person to circumnavigate a cross the earth. On his voyage he died and never was able to complete it himself.
