Industrialization quickly spread to the United States in the late 19th century. Most parts of the US had quickly adapted to the changes made through the IR. The US quickly adapted the factory system and integrated its new abilities. New machinery allowed for more advanced and quicker production of goods. It supplied jobs for the masses but took a lot of opportunity away from farmers. As a result majorly increased pollution in the region. The US had major products such as the cotton gen, automobile, and steamboats.

Europe, mostly in France and Germany, was slower to progress with the Industrial Revolution than other places like the United States and Britain. This was majorly because of their small population groups. But once regions such as Germany became unified they became major producers of goods such as steel and coal. The effects of the IR were mostly that they had almost doubled in population and majorly increased the job opportunities people had with a much better economy.

Africa, as opposed to most regions, didn't quite "industrialize" in the typical sense, though it did go through some major changes. Prior to the IR African countries were a significant portion of the trading world and had many independent systems in place. But after the Industrial Revolution, the British had imperialized most of Africa and claimed most of their resource-rich areas for themselves. These affected them as they took over much of their economic ability to export, such as gold and diamonds.

South America

There were a lot of regions within South America that weren't greatly affected. Urbanization had a major impact on the area though. Life expectancy had increased drastically and the death rates fell in great amounts. In certain areas they did actually industrialize at a good amount. They had major exports of silver, copper, tin, nitrates, rubber, bananas, beef coffee, and sugar. Before the IR south America was quite weak and underlooked but after they were able to advance a good portion, though still behind a little.

This is where the industrial revolution really began. The textile industry was very difficult for the British previously and the demand for clothes was only rising. So as a result of coal and other raw materials the British began industrializing. They had made machines such as the spinning jenny and the water frame. And implemented systems such as the assembly line which completely changed the way that Britain ran. The IR affected Britain as it changed from a mostly agricultural-based society and changed to an economical center.

A portion of the Asain metals, textiles, ships, and raw materials would be shipped to Britain for cheap. The major change that IR had on India/Southeast Asia was after the area had become majorly colonized as opposed to before.

As a result of the Industrial revolution and the rapid development of western powers Japan was forced to modernize to defend itself from the oncoming economical changes. It was one of the fastest regions to industrialize and one of the first in the Asian region. They had MANY exports, a few of these being silk, weaponry, and ships. Another big effect of the industrialization was the restoration of the Mejini. And the shogun was overthrown and an emperor was put incharge. A constitutional monarchy was established and their military was reenstated. As well as school systems and education were upgraded, and railroads and trains were created. And laws became more fair and just.
