The tsunami that struck the seaside of the Indian Ocean was called the deadliest because of the large number of people killed in just hours of its striking.

This was the most devastating natural disaster tsunami since the 1960s which is why people have feared the day of it happening again because of how far it was able to go and hurt so many people and their families. This event will go down in history as one of the biggest natural disasters that shook a population.

This event is scary to think about and this movie does a good job giving the sense of scarcity and horror because the sense of the damage the tsunami did was enough to give a good enough representation of what people had to live through. The movie is about a real family that was touring in Thailand where they were on vacation but the tsunami hits and splits them all up to find each other.

This event will be remembered because if it weren't for this tsunami then we probably wouldn't have been so focused on making something that can make us aware of any movement under the sea again.
