We are immerged into a innovative proyect called Avanz@TIC and it encourages either students or teachers to be digitally competent. The Ministry of Spain provided us with tablets, Chromebooks and digital interactive screens to gain knowledge through different apps and webpages apart form learning the dangers and security on the net.

My school at the moment does little to develop our students’ digital competence because DID and this pandemic are doing more than us to improve it. We use Microsoft Teams 365 as platform.

There is a coordinated approach at a general level: the digital team has created a document with rules to follow and everyone, on their classrooms, is working on an individual level.

This could be best addressed in teamwork.

In the national curriculum, hours are allocated for the development of students' digital competence. In addition, each teacher offers students learning activities that address these skills. But students have a maximum openness to this type of skills and are "self-taught": they learn, collaborate and learn from each other.

To develop students' digital competence, teachers try to incorporate the daily use of digital in their classes and autonomous work. There is no coordinated approach between colleagues to deal with this, but moments are created to share its use and experiences by working groups. It depends a lot on the confidence teachers feel to use the digital and promote the autonomy of students in its use. A good strategy would be to promote the pedagogical pair to work explicitly using digital equipment in order to make younger students more skilled and autonomous.

In our school there's no such approach, it was tried some years ago and work really well because students quickly made their approach and researches and evolved. I believe should have regular dissemination of ideas as projects for students to improve. Currently, in our school, all teachers are involved in teaching our students how to manage safe environments in our country, such as the Educamadrid platform, a platform for students and teachers of the Madrid government.
Therefore, all teachers use with the students, or teach them to use, the Educamadrid email, the Educamadrid Cloud, the Educamadrid MadRead library, etc.
In addition, all teachers work with Virtual Classrooms on the Modle platform, also from Educamadrid, where students can follow their subjects.

Nowadays, the whole school memebers use a safety platform, Educamadrid, where the data are protected. They use mail, the cloud, virtual classrooms ,... all of them in this platform.

In Portugal, sts have 50 min/week of ICT but there is not much else. Till now, there has been no coordinated approach between colleagues / school subjects, simply well-intentioned teachers who instil the use of free web 2.0 tools by integrating them in their eTwinning and or ERASMUS+ projects. For the first time though, and already as a consequence of the implementation of the SELFIE tool, sts were asked to answer a survey in which they expressed their needs. Locally digital literacy (in middle schools) is a cross curricular pillar that in theory all teachers are invited to promote and support in their respective subjects. Support is provided to all teachers by digital literacy support staff. However there is not an established way how to measure concretely this. However it is to be said that in specific subjects such as PSCD (Personal Social Career Development) elements of digital literacy, particularly the eSafety ones are properly addressed. There are also those who participate in eTwinning project and hence as part and parcel of the projects they are developing these skills and competences.

Even though students in Croatia are able to attend the Informatics as a school subject, its intention is not only to develop digital literacy among students but many other things. Thus, there is no that organized and coordinated approach, but everything is individually due to the teacher, I would say. In spring this year me and my students took part in a very interesting e-twinning project run by the Polish e-twinning ambassador, Marcin Hościłowicz. The main idea of the project was to make our students aware of the fact that the Internet can be viewed as a kind of double-edged sword, to put it metaphorically, and we set the spotlight on the manipulation/misformation aspect. The point of departure for the whole enterprise was the screening of the documentary The Social Dilemma which our students watched with keen interest and it indeed sparked a lot of debating and reflection swapping. What amazed me most was the level of maturity with which they approached the project. There were more than a dozen Polish secondary schools involved and it was run exclusively online. We all had online presentations to make, games to create, online discussions to join, gaming sessions to play and even fake news to conjure up - it was good fun, I'm telling you! And although only a few selected groups participated as school representatives, it revealed a lot: the students are much less 'stupefied' by the multitude of "everything" that the Net offers, many of them dislike social media and some of them have already noticed that the constant up-and-down scrolling is the biggest thief of their time.
(Needless to say, they have their IT classes every week so the practical training is ongoing and sometimes when things literally don't click on my part they are eager to help which is very nice! 🙂)

Students attend ICT classes where teachers discuss with them the rules of netiquette, e-safety and internet privacy. School specifically does nothing direct. There is no digital strategy yet. We have an official subject name Informatics and it is taught by informatics teachers according to the curriculum, 2 hours a week (70 hours a year) which is much too little. Unfortunately in our school only teachers have the opportunity to use technology in the classroom. There is a computer laboratory but it is mostly used by the computing teacher . That means that in an everyday lesson students do not use technology by themselves. This means that it is quite difficult for them to have digital competence. During the etwinning projects and the erasmus projects that are being held in our school, students are introduced to ethics and safe ways to interact while being online..we put much emphasis on that that is why we have social workers, psycologists and representers of the SID organization to inform our students about matters like cyberbullying etc. In some subjects technology is being used in a permanets basis and students get familiar with the use of different web2tools..unfortunatelly not all teachers feel comfortable in applying new technologies during their classes.

At the moment we have colleagues with very different digital abilities in our council. Best examples: Some do not know how to start their tablet others are able to produce a 360 degree film.

There are no common goals agreed between teachers at our school. Most teachers try to do their best, but there is not much cooperation between teachers. There are smart boards and computers belonging to teachers in each classroom, the contents are watched, students use the smart board.

Since recently, Computer Science has been introduced as an optional subject in our schools. In some grades it is even obligatory subject. It is important that teachers/trainers promote the digital competence of students/trainees through:

. Problem solving;

There is, however, the need for the teacher/trainer to have this knowledge in order to transmit it.

Students' digital literacy is taught in the frame of different subjects, including Computer Studies. And it it a part of the curricula in Latvia. We also organise lectures and workshops for the students, invite such stakeholders as Latvian Safer Internet Centre.

At my school there is no coordinated plan for the development of students' digital skills. Until now, only the IT subject provided some basis for the development of these skills in its curriculum. Of course, some teachers individually use some digital tools and, in my case, I try to make students content producers and handle digital tools as editors and not just as "consumers".

To develop pupils digital competence we teach pupils to use technology and devices on safe way and responsibly, they educate themselves about that on Informatics but also in other subjects. In school library I teach them to develop critical oppinion, media and information literacy and to evaluate online sources according to some gudelines. In our school we teach them those things interdisciplinary and organize educations, workshops, projects and simmilar activities for that.

Students develop their digital skills through ICT classes, but with the advent of the pandemic all teachers have applied online teaching and therefore all are involved in teaching online resources to students. Through counseling classes students know rules of behavior, safety and harassment in the online environment.
Some teachers in our school are involved in E-twinning projects and they share knowledge about E-safety rules. The school has an eSafety policy.

There is an ICT course in my school. I give these lessons to 11 and 12 year old children, but considering the intensity of the subjects taught, the digital resources that the students have and the duration of the lesson, I cannot get the efficiency I want from the students.
If we want to give students digital competence, there must be an ICT course, but digital life must also be integrated into life. Therefore, especially disadvantaged students should be supported on digital opportunities. In addition, studies should be carried out to provide students with digital competence with various activities and projects at other times in addition to ICT classes at schools.

Starting from Kindergarden through 7th grade we do have two hours of IT classes. We follow a curriculum on each grade from early years they do develop a certain knowledge and experience using IT. Students' digital competences are developed through international project work - the students need to use google, Canva, Kahoot and other tools to complete the projects tasks. Unfortunately, there is no coordinate approach between colleagues... I have an idea about getting a training on PBL for a group of teachers and equipping one classroom with tablets, so that those teachers could use modern ICT to teach different subjects through interdisciplinary approach.

It is important for schools to develop action plans that promote digital competence of teachers and pupils. Within the Division of Technical and VET, we have an action plan that includes several actions aiming to enhance the digital competence of teachers and pupils. More specifically, a number of training programmes for promoting teachers' digital skills have been scheduled, the curricula have been upgraded and teaching material that incorporates ICT technologies has been developed. In addition, extra efforts are made to equip schools with the necessary infrastructure and ICT technologies (e.g. tablets, artificial intelligence technologies, viewpoint systems, robots etc).

The issue of developing the Digital Competence of our students is fundamental and must be part of the strategic program of the school. Educational institutions must be very clear in the vision, mission and action plans to develop digital competencies, in a transversal way in all disciplines. in our school atm there is no collective or coordinated aproach, because there is no common strategy. we do encourage teachers to use etwinning projects (currently we have around 20 active etwinnning projects) which are a great tool for developing student's digital competences, because they have to, among other things, communicate with foreign partners, collaborate, create digital content and assess their work

My school with some teachers takes part in digital competence program, we have PCs, tablets, projectors and some training but mostly teachers try to figure out how they can develop their own and their students competence. Of course the students have IT lessons but it is different with other subjects's teachers. They try to educate themselves or with the help of the others but maybe a common training woulg be nice where we can show digital tools which are easy to use first to give the amount of confidence to everyone what they need to start to use these tools more often and confidently during lessons. If a teacher is a confident one then her or his students skills will also develop.

In the Romanian curriculum there are ICT classes that are performed by specialized teachers and the other teachers apply to the class methods of using web tools. I use in class Canva, pixiz, Kahoot, learning app, word art, Jigsaw puzzle, padlet, lie, google presentation.

In our school, we have a person in charge of the ICT devices (computers, speakers, internet..) so he is able to fix anything that could be broken. However, there is no person in charge of helping and teaching other teachers with technologies and everybody knows how fast they are developed
