1A- RATS ARE GOOD BECAUSE...

rats are very misunderstood, they are very similar to humans and may not believe it!
  Rats love their family like humans, they nuzzle, cuddle, feed the elders, enjoy each others company and let blind rats hold onto their tail as a guide! Rats are also great company for humans too.
    Rats help humans a lot, they do so much for us like eating garbage off the street, help us humans make vaccines for diseases, and help sailors figure out their boat is sinking! After all of that they get a bad reputation!
   You guys might say “Well rats made 18 species of bird extinct and 40 endangered!” Thats just how life is! Their just trying to eat and us humans put many species on the endangered and extinct list, for example the wolf who's just being hunted for their fur! THEIR FUR! Humans are no better then rats when it comes to this, in fact worse!
    Rats as pets are amazing  , rats are very smart and probably can be shown tricks! Rats are also affectionate so they would provide great company. Plus rats can show kids to appreciate living this more.
   This is why rats are clearly superior! They are great company and love family like us and while making many species of birds extinct and endangered, us humans are no better! Rats are helpful and misunderstood, I hope I convinced you that rats are good!


2A- RATS ARE BAD BECAUSE...

They attack nesting bird which is bad because we might need nesting birds. Also, they wiped out 18 species of birds and 40 are extinct. They drank all the water and ate the food off a boat which is bad because they could've died of starvation. If you see one rat there are more to come.

1A- I know you think that rats are bad BECAUSE they may of done many things bad like made many birds extinct and endangered and made sailors starve become parched but that doesn't matter because rats usually wont eat everything, they usually eat leftovers that are scattered around the boat that cockroach's would eat so they get rid of cockroach’s and clean up after sailors! And as I said the bird species that became extinct or endangered was because of natural causes, rats had to eat and that happens all the time! Us humans are no better anyways- we are worse! We make many species like wolves endangered or extinct and mostly because of illegal hunting or poachers trying to hunt so innocent wolves just for their fur! It still happens today, where we can make clothes out of silk we still hunt wolves in some places!   


2A- I know you think that rats are good because they love family, but on the other hand rats still drink all the sailors water and food causing starvation.

1B- RATS ARE GOOD BECAUSE..

They enjoy each other’s company and treat each other with respect. They are good indicators and help blind rats by guiding them. Since they are used as pets and provide company, they help humans by not feeling lonely or even helping humans with diseases. Rats help the community by eating the garbage from the streets which causes less pollution.

2B- RATS ARE BAD BECAUSE... Rats can tread water for three days and survive being flushed down a toilet. that mean that they bad because they could go up of the toilet and go to the bathroom and that’s ready gross. Also they could destroy an building and make fire. Another thing that if a rat died in your house, then your house is going to smell so bad like dead rats and that’s gross. Another thing is that if you eating and then if you forgot to wash your hand  they would bite you like me one time i was sleeping and then a rats came and bite my finger i was bleeding a lot. But then my finger got better. Also they could give a human an heart attack cause sometime they scares people or people are scared of them like my grandma if she see a rat she get scare she could even get a heart attack.

                          REBUTTAL

1B- I know you think that rats are bad because they may cause damage at home, but that is wrong because you should buy a cage for the rat to stay in, not damage the place, and still have company. Teaching the rat new things will help them understand what is wrong or right so if you teach them well, maybe next time when you let them go around the house they’ll behave and not “damage” the house.

2B- I know you think that rats are good because they could be a pet, because it's not good to have a rat as a pet because they have really strong teeth and they are not afraid to use them on you. They also carry around diseases so if they bite you it could get infected.

rats are good because they eat the trash from city and other parts of the world causing less contamination. although they may seem deadly to most people they are all similar to humans in a way. for example they enjoy company from other rats ,help their family's, find food for the rest of their pack and help

2C- RATS ARE BAD BECAUSE...
Rats are bad because they have a good memory (How is this bad) and they get used to sneaking in wall pretty fast and that gives them a better way to steal food. Also if you kick a rat from your house or flush them down the toilet they will come back because of there amazing memory and I forgot to mention that rats can stay under water for 6 days strait with is bad because like I said they have an amazing memory so they will find there way back into your house even if they are in the sewers because of there night vision. (Night vision what are you talking about) You didn't know rats can see in the dark pretty good actually and this gives the rats a huge advantage. The last reason that rat are bad is that if they jump off a sky scraper they will land on there feet and live. (What thats importable) Your wrong its posable and there bones rant all bad there bones are so flexible that they can

1C- I know you think that rats are bad because they can sneak around, but that doesn't matter because  sometimes they sneak around to find food to feed their starving families or find shelter for their families if their home was destroyed, it's a way of survival.

2C- I know you think that rats are good because they keep company to people and are caring, but that can be dangerous because sometimes they bite and it hurts a lot.

1E- RATS ARE GOOD BECAUSE...

Rats are good because they stick together like a pack like a normal family  and they help eachother out and they help humans by alerting them of what is happening right now and then

2E- RATS ARE BAD BECAUSE...

they Could  kill Humans with a bite and with their pee. Also they’re teeth never stop growing for they can bit even harder. As more as they eat the food from your house they get even bigger. Rats are also bad because they have really good memory that if you do something to them they will get revenge. Also rats are ugly and BIG.

1E-  I know you think that rats are bad because they infect and kill humans, but that doesn't matter because they help humans survive, they help humans evacuate if an emergency is happening. For example, they can alert the sailors if they need to get to safety due to a leak in the ship.


2E- I know you think that rats are good because they stick together like a pack like a normal family, but that doesn't matter because they could kill humans with one bite and with their pee!
