         <description><![CDATA[<div>On the writing, I was proud to see students using the graphic organizer.&nbsp; I can see that we need to review the TIDE chart in order to organize our thoughts for writing.<br><br>On the math, students tried to work out problems and use the problem-solving model.  I can see that we need to practice using the problem-solving model so that they know how to use it appropriately. </div>]]></description>

They need to be exposed to more vocabulary and pictures.<br><br>On the math the students had some challenges identifying the shapes. I believe that having more small group sessions will help the students improve overall.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My students are really excited about the wonderful exploration of words and their related pictures from actions to nouns.  They Glow when we explore vocabulary related to animals like Meerkats and Alligators.  When identifying shapes they love to create shapes. The challenge comes when they have to translate or figure out what the word "Not" means.  Growing them to understand that one of these things is not like the other is a Grow focus.   We play vocabulary games to assist with the this growth</div>]]></description>

We will have to focus on structural organization of thoughts and ideas.<br><br>On math, they demonstrated isolated computational skills, but struggled when having to perform broad algebraic reasoning and construction of algorithms.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>In writing, there is nowhere to go but up.&nbsp; I did have  1 student earn a point for planning.&nbsp;  And 2 students earned a point for handwriting. I am looking forward to introducing the TIDE chart for writing.<br>&nbsp;<br>In math, some of the students were able to&nbsp; solve the problem but were unable to explain/prove how they got their answers.&nbsp; Students were confident while taking the assessment but scores were low. Will have to work on "not" questions again this year.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My students were able to draw their ideas on the graphic organizer for SRSD. Some were able to write words from the word bank with good handwriting. I feel that my student will grow once the TIDE chart will be introduced and used frequently in the classroom. As for math, I was impressed that a few of my students could answer the question but could not show me how they solved the problem. I think by implementing the "Problem Solving Model" in the classroom I will eventually be able to support them.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Glow: Students struggled with the terms "firsthand account" and "secondhand account" when referring to 1st person point of view and 3rd person point of view. After having the students close their eyes (visualize) and listen to portions of a story, they were able to distinguish the difference which also improved their understanding when completing their assignment for RPM.&nbsp;<br><br>Growth: Students must continue to work on writing complete sentences, using correct capitalization, and correct punctuation. They are also struggling with spelling.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students have already shown expected growth in the amount of push-ups and curl-ups that they can do. They are also improving on their aerobic capacity with being able last longer during cardio exercises.&nbsp;<br><br>Third graders are understanding heart rate and the difference between faster and slower heart rates, but we are still working on calculating their heart rates. They will get better as they get better with multiplication. </div>]]></description>

They did not follow a structure but reread the text to find information to write.<br>Math-The students were not stressing out about it. Some of the students did try to solve the problem accurately with what has been taught in math previously.<br><br>Grow<br>Writing- We will need to practice grammar and structure. We will use Empowering Writers and SRSD to plan and write their texts.<br>Math- We will work in small work and learn how to use the model provided. We will also practice reading and answering questions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Glow: A majority of my 4th graders that I had last year have shown that they are retaining some of the information taught last year. A few of them even used some thinking skills to figure out a few new notes that I hadn't taught them yet.<br>My 3rd graders showed that they were eager to try their best even if they didn't know exactly what to do.<br><br>Grow: My 4th graders struggled with creating their own music within the given time signature, so over this next year I know we can grow in that aspect.<br>My 3rd graders struggled with the notes on the treble clef, but over the next year and after introducing recorders, I am positive that they will also grow.</div>]]></description>
