For this to happen you can attend an official citizenship ceremony and make the Australian Citizenship Pledge. As an Australian citizen any visa you held ceases. Having a Representative Democracy government also means the citizen have freedom of speech. Other country's like the United States, Rome, and South Africa also have Representative Democracy government. On the other hand however compared to Representative Democracy, some country's such as North Korea and the Soviet Union have a form of government called Fascim meaning the citizens have no choice in what they want to do.
