         <title>Lexington and concord </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Date: April, 1775 <br><br><br>Location: Massachusetts <br><br><br>Recap in your own words: British solders were supposed to go to concord to collect guns and amo. the colonist get word really quickly. a couple of colonist meet-up in Lexington. but by the time they get to concord, and 300 colonist show up with guns at a bridge and said "you are not getting past" a shot heard around the world starting the war, but the British is out numbered so they have to march back to Boston. this was a shame to the British. this going to be a domino effect and cause other colonies to rebel and sperate from there mother countries  <br><br><br>Who won and why:<br>colonist won by because they out numbered the british<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Date: October, 1781<br><br></div><div><br>Location: Virginia <br><br></div><div><br>Recap in your own words: Washington made fake letters and sent them across the colonies. once the British troops got these fake letters they wen to York town because they wanted to take it over and use it as a defense when they attack the colonist again. but he didn't know that the french troops where all ready at the bay outside of York town. so when the British got to York town their boats were sunk by the battle. the British set up defense at Yorktown, but they would later find out that not minutes of setting up defense Washington troops where going to attack them. so the British surrendered <br><br></div><div><br>Who won and why: colonist because they outnumbered the British, with french troops.<br><br></div>]]></description>
