In your opinion, was Coach Joseph Kennedy’s speech (his prayer) made as part of his official duties as a coach? For example, during this time, did he engage in any speech the school district paid him to produce as a coach, such as instructing players on strategy or on-field performance? Vitale. During game time he didn’t pray so it’s confusing. He also included players and actively encouraging them to participate meaning it’s against the law.

The players that were on the team joined him which may have been looked at as cohering them into praying which is against the law that was previously passed. So he does go against the law that was passed and it is taking place on the field which is school grounds but also his classroom.
