The subject of my personal project was Republic of the Congo. I had a lot of trouble investigating this country. Even if I searched the Republic of the Congo in both English and Korean, most of the information was about the Democratic Republic of Congo. So I had the biggest difficulty when I first collected data. In investigating the Republic of the Congo, I set the subject as Republic of the Congo's Poverty. The government of the Republic of the Congo has introduced monetary social transfers as a policy to fight poverty. The poverty rate in the Republic of Congo decreased from 51% in 2005 to 36% in 2015. I could find these data on the homepage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I had a lot of worries when I first started this personal project. But I was able to complete the project with my best effort. When I was asked an additional question by another member, I didn't answer it correctly. Because I couldn't think of a word because my English speaking skill was insufficient. When we prepared for a non-face-to-face discussion with the group members, the group members spoke very little. We spent almost all of our time searching for videos in non-face-to-face classes. In the non-face-to-face class, we couldn't actively communicate and we couldn't decide on the video. So we had to set a theme and video on Wednesday when we had face-to-face classes.
