I had my friend create things with her hands and sit in front of the light, then I used the gradient mode on photoshop to mess with the background a little.
2: Photographing a subject in a silhouette draws your attention straight to it. It brings out details that you wouldn't really notice, like the side profile of a person.
3: The most challenging part of this project was creating the silhouette itself. All I knew was that you had to underexpose before you took the picture. I struggled a lot with that, but now I got the hang of it. If I could retake these images, I would take silhouette pictures with the sunset. I zoomed in on my subjects to capture all their details.
2. Photographing a subject in a more abstract way gives the viewer a different perspective on the the subject. They are able to look at all the details and true essence of the subject.
3: Both the black and white and color photos came out really well in my opinion. The black and white focuses more on the details of the subject, while the color photos pop out at you more. Removing the color from a subject doesn't make the photo as effective and appealing to the eye.

2. This assignment was different than the ones I have done before. It was a bit challenging, and I had to learn from each mistake. I had to underexpose and set a timer to create different shapes with the lights. 
3. I would try to redo the faces to look a bit more neater, I'd use different color lights and also make different things with the lights. I honestly just took pictures that looked cool and were really pretty to me. I like the nature in Wichita, so when I saw those flowers, I took the picture because they were beautiful. The skies in Wichita are also extremely amazing, and I grew to love cloudy skies because they're so fascinating! Since our school is in the middle of nowhere, it was actually great that the cotton was growing. It was my first time in a cotton field, and I ran like a maniac to capture the photos. We also had a photoshoot!
2. The color in the original flower picture pops out at you, however, the polyscape version does not. I think the cotton field polyscape is the most successful because it looks cool to me. The original cotton field photo looks boring. 
3. I think that if I can get better at doing very intricate polyscapes, I'd definitely use this technique in future projects. I tried to get as much skin in my frame so I shot from different angles in order to do that. Collar bones pop out, and they look really cool, so I wanted to take pictures of people's collar bones. I also really love Aisha's beauty marks and eyelashes so I took pictures of that too.
2. The lith technique gave some of the pictures more emphasis and the shadows pop out more. It does change the viewer's interpretation and I think it looks more dramatic.
3. I like the lith images and the color ones because they both pop out at you in different ways. The lith photos are very dramatic and the color of the christmas lights pop out at you. 2. The book Kathy brought was really cute, so I decided to take pictures of it. It uses both unity and variety because it's the same book but just a different background.. My sisters have a lot of cameras, and I thought it was a really good idea, so that's why I chose those subjects. I used the same background and different cameras for this typology.
3.I would give myself an A on the camera typology because I really like how it came out.
