INDOOR CYCLING RIDES - Durham, NH:

Come and ride! We will be riding on an indoor track, allowing plenty of space for riders who have ridden with NEP or those who are just getting started. If you don't have a cycle, NEP can provide one--just reach out to discuss what will work best for you. Check out our inventory here!

Dates: Saturdays, January 31, February 28, March 21 from 12:30-2:30PM

Fees: $30.00, $5.00 w/own cycle, $0.00 for Veterans

Funding for Veterans for this program is provided to Northeast Passage through a grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

COURT SPORTS - Durham, NH:

Come join Northeast Passage at UNH's Hamel Recreation Center for a night of Court Sports. We will provide court wheelchairs, people to fill out teams, and all the equipment needed for the specific games. We usually play games such as wheelchair handball, Korf Ball and ultimate frisbee. This program is appropriate for participants of all abilities, ages, and levels of experience.

Dates: February 18, February 25, March 4, March 11, March 25, April 1, April 8, April 15 from 5:30-7:30PM. There is no cost for these events.

F: Consent must be Freely Given without pressure.

R: Consent is Reversible. At any time, the person giving consent can change their mind.

I: The person giving consent must be Informed about what they’re consenting to.

E: Their “yes” must be Enthusiastic. “I don’t know” means no, and no answer means no. Only “yes” means yes.

S: Consent is for something Specific– meaning consenting to one thing (e.g. kissing) does not mean consent to another (e.g. touching).

Consent is the key to a healthy and loving relationship of any kind. Learning how to say “no” and learning how to deal with someone else’s “no” in a respectful way will open the door to strong and fulfilling relationships.

AFTER I AM GONE is a new initiative from The Arc of Massachusetts designed to support aging caregivers who are planning for the future care of their loved one with a disability. It provides tools, guidance, and a structured approach to help families think through important questions about long-term support, decision-making, and quality of life. The initiative emphasizes person-centered planning, focusing on the individual’s goals, preferences, and support needs, while helping caregivers prepare a plan that can be carried forward when they are no longer able to provide direct support.
