I had them watch a motivational video to face Quarter 2 challenges head-on and to know their worth!  They had to give me one thing for school and one thing for personal care to do to make sure they finished this semester strong! :) Love the analogy...they liked it too. My students seem to enjoy polls, which can be created in Forms on Teams and posted in the chat. It is a great starter to a lesson, with a simple question so that everyone can see the percentage for each option.
