What is design thinking?
Design thinking is an ideology supported by an accompanying process. A complete definition requires an understanding of both.

Explore Alternatives
Understand culture
Identify problem - come up with solution

How- The Process
The design-thinking framework follows an overall flow of 1) understand, 2) explore, and 3) materialize. Within these larger buckets fall the 6 phases: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test, and implement.

Class Activity:
During the class we were asked to design a wallet, we had to ask a classmate to see what would be there necessities or how they would like the wallet to be. After designing the wallet we made a prototype or the wallet which we then showed to the classmate we interview and see if it was up to his expectations.

The most obvious example of entrepreneurship is the starting of new businesses.

Who are entrepreneurs?
"An entrepreneur is someone who can take any idea, whether it be a product and/or service, and have the skill set, will and courage to take extreme risk to do whatever it takes to turn that concept into reality and not only bring it to market, but make it a viable product and/or service that people want or need."

Example:

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft. There are probably not many people that have not been touched by one of his products, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.

Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple computers, which produces Macs, iPods and iPhones, as well as Apple TV.

Reviewing tasks gives your employee the impression that you are paying attention, that they can’t just “skate by” with no attention to detail. Even the best employees won’t continue to put in their best effort when they know it won’t matter.

This is important whether it’s the reminder for an upcoming call or checking all the links in your newsletter. If you can’t trust your team member with basic projects and following your instructions then it’s unlikely you’ll be able to let go and trust with larger projects.

Don’t just share how great your team is to your team! Give a shout out on social media, tell your colleagues how great it is to have this support and most importantly, thank your team members personally and frequently.

Class Activity:
During the class we gave a team review so the teacher could see each team members performance. Also to see how is the team is working or if they can work together.
