This interview is about a man names Reggie Clemons who was falsely accused of murdering 2 girls. Him and his friends were hanging out at the bridge and met the 2 girls and their cousin. They had a short casual conversation and then parted ways. The police claimed that he and his friend raped and murdered the girls. The police also beat up Reggie. This shows how a misunderstanding could lead to serious consequences like the death sentence. There was a person named Edwin Turner, he suffered from mental illnesses and has been hospitalized for his mental illness. His family had a history of suicide attempts. The US didn't have a law to protect those who had mental illnesses. Although it was really clear that he suffered from mental illness, they still proceeded with the death penalty.
