after taking the rate my bias quiz my results were leaning left. I feel like this fits my opinions as many of my options correspond with the right strongly. although some of my options with taxes, funding and education are more left leaning. I think its very important for people to be aware of their bias and what the bias is of the media they are watching. it can play an important roll in how we think of issues and the world

The judge, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton, said in a five-page opinion that the unions lacked proper legal standing to challenge the buyout program because they were not directly impacted by it. A federal judge restored President Donald Trump's deferred resignation program for federal workers in a decision Wednesday.

The deferred resignation program, also known as the administration's "fork in the road" offer, asked government workers to stay or leave after Trump required them to return to their offices shortly after his inauguration. The legal group Democracy Forward had filed a lawsuit over the program on behalf of labor unions that represent thousands of employees.

U.S. District Judge George O’Toole of Massachusetts made the ruling in favor of the White House Wednesday evening. In his decision, he wrote that the plaintiffs in the case "are not directly impacted by the directive" and denied their case on that basis.

through my reading of these articles the bulk of the story or the main point was the same. they were talking about the same thing. the bias comes in how they talked about it. weather it was positive or negative. different news stations used different words to make you feel a different way about the same political issue. they use their platform to swing there readers the way they believe the information should be taken and this is the exact reason why learning about bias especially your own bias is very important. if you are not educated its very easy for these sights to trick you into thinking how they want to think. this is very true if you use one new site for all your news.
