- Here I plan to argue that Juana could have been compelled to mention that she was not taught prayers and so considered herself to be without faith in order to discredit her master and his reputation. Because of her understanding of the Catholic culture in which she lived, she could have known that denying a slave a relationship with God was seen as immoral.
- I also would like to argue here that for someone like Maria de Dolores who fully accepted god and was baptized & married through the church, buying her and her children's freedoms could have been easier. Using the church to legitimize her family in the eyes of Spanish FL

- Maybe I can make a prezi with the documents and interpretations. Maybe I can use the map as the background and zoom in and out of the map to the different stories and women of St. Augustine.
