I see that as a fundamental reason why one graphic organizer will not suffice. We can have some overlapping structure, that can cross those lines, but ultimately, we need more than one graphic organizer.

We might want to agree to graphic organizers that would benefit our own curriculum - meaning the departments should have graphic organizers that they adopt.  If all subjects are narrowing their focus to emphasizing the two standards, they should improve exponentially.

As for how we see the growth, it sounds like we should see the growth on the district tests that are given.

If we can weave some of the standards into our academy thematic units, that may help the student applying the skills required for the standard even more.
