Southern African Americans may have traditions closer to West African or Native Americans. (Some run-away slaves joined Native tribes to escape slavery) The A.M.C or (African Methodist Church) or Baptist, Pentecostal forms of Christianity are all various religious traditions adopted and practiced by African Americans. For one, the group has gone decades of changes along with the addition of sub-groups and political standings. African American can be demanded to study and revitalize their African heritage, pursue master in scholastic endeavors or dominate athletically. Moans... Screams... The cries for the most venerated deities echoed, but they had not shown. Sound painted vividly what the dark confinement attempted to blot out.
