Edgar Allan poe has made many poem's and loved writing but his life was strange and tragic to say the least. He was born on January 19, 1809 in boston Massachusetts.  When he was little His Father was barely involved in their lives and  abandoned him and his family, shortly after this his mother died. After becoming orphans they were adopted by the Allan Family, hence the "Allan" last name.   He then enrolled in the University of Virginia to study language which he then dropped out a year later for reasons that aren't confirmed. He then went into the Military with a false identity. He then married his cousin who was half his age, 13 years of age when he was around 28 years old. He was also bombarded with debt and tried to pay it off by gambling which only worsened his dept, to make matters worse he tried to be an accomplish writer but failed, until he wrote the poem Call "The Raven" Which sky rocketed his popularity. His Wife also got tuberculosis and this girl called Ellet was leaving Poe messages and trying to win him over, but then she said that Poe has written all of those letters himself. This drama about Ellet and Poe gave Virginia much stress and due to all of this stress alongside her tuberculosis/sickness Virginia died, but one her dying words (due to the stress she caused her) she said Ellet was her murderer. To make this even worse on September 27 1849, after moving from New York to Philadelphia to take an editing job he just vanished. To be found on October 3rd in a ditch in voldemort and in clothes that weren't his and 4 days later he died.
