An aquapod can be bought from many different places including Amazon for around $30. This allows the child to jump around, or use their hands to splash around, moving the fish on the inside of the pod. The children can feel the water move underneath of them allowing for the child to get that tactile sensory need met all while feeling like they're playing a game or having fun.

I love the idea of a PlayPanel! One can be purchased online for around $300. Instead of finding the funds to purchase one, some of these different sections that it has, can always be bought separately for a much lower price. Although these can run very expensive, they offer a lot of different options on how one's tactile needs may be met. They allow the child time to explore many different things such as a mirror, a chalk board, a velcro section, and more in order to bring them down to a level at which they're able to function.

They can get rather expensive as far as blankets go but they start out around $50-100 depending highly on the size, quality and weight. It also happens to be a product that you could make if that is an easier route to take. These blankets allow a child with an easy way to calm their nerves when the setting is too much for them to process. Just by setting this blanket on their lap, the pressure relieves some of their sensitivity to the current situation they're in.
