         <description><![CDATA[<div>P is a healthy 24-month old healthy girl whom you have seen regularly since birth. Her birth history and past medical history are unremarkable.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Her mother is a vice president of a small company. Her physical examination is normal.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;She has healthy dentition (no signs of early childhood tooth decay). P lives in an area with non-fluoridated municipal drinking water.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>Therapy question&nbsp;</div><div>A. You need to make a decision whether pit and fissure sealants should &nbsp; be applied.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Question:</strong> Should children less than 5 with healthy dentition receive pit and fissure sealants if they are not exposed to fluoride?&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>P - Children less than 5</div><div>E&nbsp; - Children with access to fluoridated water&nbsp;</div><div>C- Children with no access to fluoridated water</div><div>O- Dental caries&nbsp;<br>T - Therapy&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>B. You need to unfold the relationship of socioeconomic status and increased risk of dental caries in children in P’s age group (&lt;5 years).&nbsp;<br><br>Etiology question&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Question: Are children less than 5 years old more susceptible to dental caries due to their lack of access to fluoride because of their socioeconomic status?</div><div><br></div><div>P - Children less than 5 years&nbsp;</div><div>E- Upper Class&nbsp;</div><div>C- Lower class&nbsp;</div><div>O- Dental caries&nbsp;<br>T- Etiology&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>C. We recommend observational studies which include Rct,&nbsp;<br>cohort study, case - control study for both questions that were formulated.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Cases in strongest to weakest evidence.&nbsp;<br>1. Case - control study&nbsp;</div><div><br>Abstract 1<br>Type of study : RaRCT<br><br>P-&nbsp; Persons who require surgical&nbsp; extraction&nbsp;<br>I- PRF &nbsp;<br>C- Control group&nbsp;<br>O - Periodontal pocket depth decreased at 3 months post operatively and bone density increased in the case group.&nbsp;<br><br>Question: Does exposure to PRF decrease the severity of post operative complications following surgical extractions?<br><br>Abstract 2:<br>Systemic<br><br></div><div>P- individuals who experience pain during orthodontic treatment&nbsp;</div><div>I- non pharmaceutical interventions</div><div>C- pain killer</div><div>O- Outcome is relieving the intensity of pain over the short time</div><div><br></div><div>Insufficient event to assess the effectiveness of the intervention however little evident show that laser irradiation may be able to control short term orthodontic pain &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Question: What is the effectiveness of non pharmaceutical interventions of relieving orthodontic pain in teenagers and adults during and after orthodontic treatment?</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
