As the teacher models the skill, the children will follow, and then individualized instruction will take place to make sure that the lesson has been absorved. 

Explicit instruction is effective, in my opinion, depending on how the teacher executed and organized the curriculum in a way that learners will be able to think critically upon step-by-step demonstration. 

To boot, I have realized that learners might have changed because of the adjustments the curriculum drastically undergone in the past years. 

Ma'am Rona Peralta did an excellent job at making the participants realized of the do's and the don'ts inside the classroom.
