When I started being a student in junior high school, I used to share a lot of pictures of myself in social medias such as Facebook and Instagram. When I learned about another social media called Twitter, I used to tweet all of my thoughts and share private information thinking that it was okay. However, after a lot of sharing, I realized that it was not safe at all. I shared too much private information and pictures that can be freely edited and shared against my will. These consequences could have damaged my personal life in different aspects.

I also discovered that passwords should not be the same in all accounts as it could be easily hacked and manipulated by other people. Nevertheless, I still use the same password for other accounts because I always forget my passwords.

Another thing is that I usually do not care if a website that I open is secured or not. But prior in clicking that, my brother saw what I was doing and prevented me on doing that kind of thing again. He elaborately explained to me the danger of click baiting such as hacking and putting virus on the laptop. Learning from my experience, I always ignored such ads and now I fully understand what was my brother told me. 

I also remembered famous virus that my teacher was once told me, the trojan and I love u virus that deletes the files on the desktop and causes malware. There was a time that there was some random stranger who invite me, I thougth that he/she was my friend on Facebook so I visited it where I was tagged. I thought that he/she wants me to support there page or something but I was shocked that it was a s*x video. So I immediately go out to that site. As I scroll down to my news feed, there has many issues or incident that is happening recently. Some of my friends are have been victimized with this scam that if you click the invite of the person who they tag you, they can hack your account. I usually do this when I am talking with my friends. At first, I thought that it is now normal for people, especially teenagers to type in capital letters because we are getting used to typing informally that we forget to consider basic online etiquettes. For instance, when I laugh, instead of typing, "Hahaha" I type "HAHAHA". Maybe it would look sarcastic when based on internet etiquette but for me, it does not.             When I was younger, I always sign up and log in to different sites without thinking much about it. I also shared what I want and gave my opinions openly without thinking about what others would think. There was even a time that my mom kind of reprimanded me for a joke that I shared in my social media account. Now that I think about it, I have a really toxic personality back then. I mean, I still have a toxic side right now but lesser than my past self lol.
