Quality of the attached files and sizes:

Padlet has no limits regarding file sizes other then one file per post. Each poster submission/participant is allowed to create one post therefore upload one of the above mentioned forms. Please, provide high quality graphics/files so that all elements are readible, understastandable and informative to all conference participants.

Instructions to add your post:

1. Click yellow button "+Post" in the right corner

2. At the top add title of your poster submission

3. Upload files following above instructions on the file formats

4. Fill information about authors of the poster

5. Add description of the poster (500 characters max)

6. Click Pink button "Publish" in top right corner of the window that poped out for your to submit post

7. Congrats now your poster is ready and visible to all Commocean participants, it will be scored by everyone. Underneath each post everyone including you have the possibility to score the work of others in scale 0-10 points

“Quel Océan dans dix ans ? » short recipe.

Take some journalism students and introduce them to ongoing marine science projects. Then send those students in the speakers’labs to make a short video portrait / interview. After a few years you end up with a collection of videos to show up what’s going on in your University !

Short description: The deep sea is one of the least accessible environments to humanity. This has lead to underrepresentation and widespread misunderstanding of the world's largest environment.

To make the deep sea more accessible to the public, I have made a portable, interactive deep-sea exhibit, highlighting the science behind my PhD-thesis. This way, people anywhere can learn about- and interact with the deep sea, helping them form meaningful connection to this remote environment.
