De laatse Catherine Parr was heel aardig voor Elizabeth. Henry hoopte dat Elizabeth met een buitenlandse prins trouwde toen ze oud genoeg was. Edward (haar broer) was nu koning. Maar de Engelse edelen waren tegen de macht. Thomas Seymour was van plan Elizabeth te trouwen en koning te worden. Catherine stuurde Elizabeth naar het platteland. Later werd Thomas vermoord. In 1553 ging Edward dood toen was Jane Grey koningin maar die werdt 9 dagen later ook vermoord. Toen werdt Mary (de zus van Elizabeth) koningin zij was katholiek en daarom werdt zij ook vermoord. Thomas Wyatt was tegen Mary en Mary dacht dat Elizabeth er ook wat mee te maken had en sloot haar op voor 8 dagen. Maar Elizabeth werd weer vrij gelaten toen Thomas Wyatt was vermoord. Een paar jaren later ging ook Mary dood toen was Elizabeth koningin.

Iedereen hoopte dat Elizabeth een goede koningin zou zijn. De meesten wilden geen ruzie meer over religie. Ze wilden vrede. Elizabeth hield van haar eigen weg te volgen. Ze koos ook goede adviseurs en leidde de staat. Elizabeth reisde door Engeland. Ze bezocht kastelen en grote huizen. De katholieke kerk zei dat Henry en Anne Boleyn nooit wettig getrouwd waren. Dus Elizabeth was niet de koningin van Engeland. Hierom werden de katholieken boos. Mensen wilden dat de koningin zou trouwen. Ze moet kinderen krijgen om na haar koning of koningin te worden. Elizabeth was erg voorzichtig. On the right side of the picture you can see a woman in a amazing white dress. Behind in the picture you see the beautiful scenery of England. The man in the front of the picture has in my opinion a very ugly jacket. Compared to that time, the security has improved considerably.
