         <title>Screencastify Chrome Extension</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://goo.gl/UVzjof">Screencastify</a> is an easy to use online screen recording program.  It can be used by teachers to create video lessons to be used in a Flipped Class or other Blended Learning model.  However, it is an excellent way to provide an additional choice in how learners demonstrate their understanding of a concept.  When paired with Edpuzzle, Screencastify becomes a powerful, interactive tool for learning. Also, it is free!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://www.padlet.com">Padlet</a> is great way to increase communication and collaboration in your learning environment.  It can be used for online discussions, exit tickets (I always run out of time for this at the end of a lesson.  Using Padlet, the exit ticket can be done at any time or location.), or backchannel feed for class discussions.  It is very flexible, so the only limit is your creativity.</div>]]></description>

It includes a timer, QR code generator, drawing &amp; text pads, and even a sound level monitor.  It is free and doesn't require an account to be created.  This tools is very useful when running a Station Rotation or Individual Rotation model.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://webquest.org/index.php">Webquest.org</a> provides a database of webquests created by teachers as well as a guide to create webquests. A webquest is an inquiry based approach to learning in which students are presented with a task to complete. Learning is very transparent as the process and summative assessment for the task is available for the learners to access at any time. Also, webquests can designed to be completed either independently or collaboratively, so all aspects of the 4 C's are addressed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://cse.google.com/cse/">The Google Custom Search</a> engine is a way for you to create a safe and focused online environment for learners to practice online research skills.  Using this site, you can identify specific websites and create a link to a search engine which only searches these sites.  This creates an effective way to keep students' searches on topic while also giving them a way to apply this skill.  In addition, this tool could be integrated into a webquest to replace the list of resources (these become the websites you identify in your search engine).</div>]]></description>
