What did I learn about narrative writing? What did you learn about yourself when you participated in your project?
I learned how to make my Narrative Writing better by using some tips and tricks that i learned! A few weeks ago, My class started a Narrative Writing Project called, The Best Day This Past Summer. AT first, I didn’t quite knew what to write because I did a lot of things during the summer like, visiting Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon Skywalk , and the terrible Summer School I went to :(. But I also went to a party with all my friends for a get together party at a park. It was so hard remembering what I did but, i managed. As I finished my piece of writing, I felt happy to write about all my friends and the fun times I had with them!

What did I learn about science? What did you learn about yourself when you participated in this project?
I learned that science can be hard but sometimes can be fun when you do interesting projects with your friends! During this project, we had a lot of fun finding pictures for our science slide and making videos! When we first started our slide, we added a few pictures. Also, some of the work was a bit hard, so we split the work in parts. I did the claim and the questions, Aaron did the main question, Jason set-up the slides, and Shane found pictures! A few days later, we completed our slide! It was sad finishing this project because it was the most thrilling science project we had yet!

What did I learn about technology? What did you learn about yourself when you participated in this project?
I learned things that i didn’t even know about like, animation on slides, a diamante poem and so much more! When we first started my diamante poem, it was so hard! I couldn’t figure out the words to describe me. Luckily, I went on the dictionary to find some words. A few Minutes later, I started my Screencastify video! At first, I was a bit nervous because THE WHOLE CLASS WOULD SEE THIS!!! Then, some of my friends gave me some advice and that's how I finished my video! Soon, Edward/ed told us how to make animations on our slides to make it look professional, I got to say, that was pretty awesome and fun! But then when i finished my slide, I felt so sad to not work on this project anymore. I hope someday I can do a project like this in the future!

Native Indian Tribe Padlet

What did I learn about the Native American Tribes Padlet Project? What did you learn about yourself when you participated in this project?

I learned that there are many different native american tribes like the pacific northwest tribe, Eastern woodland tribe and a few more! I also learned about a new slide show website called padlet! It lets you put videos, links and so much more! My group was made up of, Anika Singh, Kayla Ibrahim, and me, Ethan Rai. First, we had a lot of fun finding backgrounds for our padlet! Since we did the pacific Northwest Tribe, we had to find beaches/water. While we were searching for images of fish, a picture of a fish meme came up! It was so funny, that our group had to calm down for 2 min. As we did final touches to our padlet, we soon completed it! This was probably the most fun social studies project ever! :)

SOTB Responces To Litrature

What did you learn about response to literature? What did you learn about yourself when you participated in this project?
I learned that literature is much different than narrative writing, because you have to answer your prompt and cite evidence from the text. I felt quite frustrated because, I am used to writing stories than writing a response to literature essay. Luckily, our teacher, Mr. Chuang made us take notes in our comprehension book, to help us along the way. Little by little, I worked on all the elements that makes a good response to literature. As soon as I finished my writing, I felt accomplished to complete my first response to literature for The Sign of the Beaver by: Elizabeth George Speare.
