Macworld Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone on January 7, 2007, forever changing communication worldwide.

2010 - Affordable Care Act

We study history to understand what the people in the past has done for our country.

President Obama signs Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law on March 10, 2010. It was a great overhaul and expansion of the medical system since 1965.

2012 - Tragedy at Sandy Hook

Even if we don't want to, we must remember all of history, the good and the bad. We remember what happened, so the people gone are never forgotten.

On December 14, 2012, a 20 year old gunman entered the Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed 20 first graders and 6 adults. It is considered one of the deadliest mass shootings to take place in an Elementary school.

2015 - Same Sex Marriage

We always want to recognize the accomplishments the Government has done for us, Americans.

On June 26, 2015, Supreme Court ruled that all 50 states must recognize Same-Sex Marriage, following victory to the case of Oberge v. Hodges.

2022 - Roe Vs Wade

Even when we don't agree, we must remember all decisions the Government makes, even if it upsets the people.

On June 24, the Supreme Court made the decision to overturn Roe Vs Wade, which gave women a garunteed right to abortion.

On October 3, 2023, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was historically unseated, making him the first Speaker of the House to ever be removed from office. Such s shame. :(

Sometimes, Mother Nature has horrific tricks up her sleeves. We study history of all sorts, including natural disasters. We study history because we want to understand what goes on worldwide as much as we can, so that no future humans are ever left clueless.

On January 10, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the West Indian island of Hispaniola, making it one of the deadliest natural disasters of the decade.
