Every meal I had was delicious, but I was very surprised that in every restaurant the portions were so big, that I couldn’t finish it. In Poland, I am always able to finish my portions in restaurants. On the other hand in Slovenia it was almost impossible to finish any meal. If I wanted I could take the food I ate away and eat on the evening in hotel. Also that the shops were closed extremely early and there weren’t shops open for 24 hours. A lot of people were using bikes. No Starbucks. Maribor was also very quiet at night and all the stores closed around 19:00 which was very unusual for us. In Prague, there are shops that are open 24/7. We arrived at 10 PM and streets were empty and all the shops were closed, that seemed a bit scary to me. I liked how ecological Slovenia is, bicycles are literally everywhere. Shops closed really soon and there were no non-stop-open shops. When we were walking around the city in the evening it was already almost empty. Also the portions of food were unusually large.
