Although no students have created tutorials, my co-teacher and I have video taped ourselves doing math problems to put on SeeSaw. We put the problems on SeeSaw so parents can view the video and help their child complete math problems at home.

I haven't been able to implement tutorials in my classroom. I would love to do this next year for goals. Students can use video tutorials to explain how they met their goal, or to even teach someone how to master that goal. I would also love to do this as an option for an independent task. Next year I will not only try to have students create videos, but tutorials on powerpoint.

My students create math tutorials based on their math goal. They use Math On The Spot videos that are found on Think Central. They create a script, their own word problem and then record themselves showing how to solve the word problem. They truly enjoy creating these videos and they enjoy sharing them with the class even more!
