Inflation in Rome started after the civil wars settled. Rome enjoyed there 2 centuries of prosperity with its road and trading system, but that success wouldn't last forever. The Romans slowly started running out of territory and couldn't keep their fresh revenue. then came a plague from 165 to 180 AD. The population shrank and the prices soared. Faced with mounting costs Rome responded by bringing up the taxes. they started making the silver coins less and less pure and eventually they couldn't use their money because it was almost worthless. instead of using money, they had to start trading to get things. The downfall started happening when the government failed to pay the military because of the money loss. after this Rome was left wide open to barbarian attacks.

https://dailyhistory.org/What_Role_Did_Inflation_Play_in_the_Collapse_of_the_Roman_Empire

Rising prices, known as inflation effect the price of living borrowing money, doing business and more.Inflation has been a major issue recently especially in America. According to Forbes advisor gas prices have dropped 6.1% since April all though, the prices are still 45% higher than they were last year. And based on The balance The U.S inflation rate has remained the same from the previous month but year over inflation its self has increased 8.5%.Displayed on Compassion Inflation connects with poverty as well many of the low income country's have family's that struggle to put food on the table by itself but as prices keep on rising many family's can't afford to buy food so as food prices rise so do hunger, undernourishment, and malnutrition.

google,

Forbes advisor, and the balance

the problem of inflation most relates with SDG's Good jobs, economic growth and poverty.if the inflation rate does not drop people can't afford certain things. For example someone gets paid 500$ a week and barely makes the cut to pay for everything they need, when the inflation rate increases he'll then not have enough money to pay for the things he needs.Which then falls into the poverty category because as more and more people can't afford there needs more people fall into poverty.Which then makes us a weaker economy and that means no economic growth.
