I used to think that EdTech tools are challenging for LSP students.

Now I think that it is possible.

Now I plan to look into making use of EdTech Tools to enhance the lessons and learning of the students.

I used to think that using Ed Tech would be time consuming. But after listening to the LSCs, I think if I train the pupils and set the routines, pupils should be able log into the app quickly and would have fun learning.

I used to think that it's time consuming and impossible to use Edtech during LSP lessons. However, after listening to the sharing, I think it's do-able.

I used to conduct conventional IEP/GEP using physical resources. However, after the sharing, I plan to try using Edtech for my IEP/GEP.

I used to think that there is not enough time to include Edtech tool in LSP lessons. Now I think we can include with proper routines and structure.

It has not occurred to me that I can use school funds to purchase online accounts for individual pupils. Now I plan to propose the idea to my HOD using the checklist.

I Used to think my students are unable to log in using laptop and even remember their username and passwords. They would take a long time even the whole period to log in.

Now I think students are able to log in within the stipulated time by using a timer set to 10 mins and also using positive reinforcement when they manage to log in within the time set for them. A stamp/ sticker will be given in their Student Diary if they manage to do so.

I used to think it is difficult to use EdTech with time constraint.

Now I think it is possible to do so during IEP/GEP sessions with careful planning and adequate practice.

I used to think Edtech will be challenging esp for the LP students and definitely time consuming.

I have used wordwall, classpoint and duolingo in my lessons and i realised the students might even be more proficient than myself.

They love Etech lessons and always look forward to attend lessons.

However, many free versions cannot track progress. Like nearpod, lalilo etc.

I used to use Master worksheets / Flipchart for IEP/GEP, especially for P1 LSP students.

Now I plan to slowly introduce EdTech tools into the lessons with the P1 students.

I used to think that to incorp EdTech tools, particularly getting students to log in to the devices would be too time consuming. Now I think, i just need to accept to waste time to gain time to get the students (even myself as the teacher!) to be familiar with the routines and be consistently implemented.

I Used to stand around to help students with the technical issues and this easily took up the time for iep/gep. I had to take another period to do iep and gep. Now (towards end of term 3) students know how to log in, I am able to do IEP/GEP and at times do PM when students are engaged on Ed tech tools.
