Schools standardized test scores are slowly becoming worse. Some people are suggesting to do away with the whole mandatory attendance law. Only allowing those who wish to learn to bring themselves to school (Sipher 1)

ex. #1: The majority cause of the crisis is where kids are being forced to go to school because of a law that keeps them from staying home. This education they have is highly helpful for them, but they don't feel motivated enough to spend their day learning about subjects they don't like. Mandatory attendance laws consistently bring an onslaught of children to school who return every day with no willingness to learn. Often this unwillingness to learn leads children to having a lackluster educational experience.

#1: A reason why there is a problem in many schools in America is because of the laws that force kids to go to school even if they do not want to go. Not every kid is given the education that America provides because many kids hate school and have no motivation to do good in school.

#1 Kids have little desire to attend school that it is one of the reasons that the test scores are declining.
