Rapunzel is a princess who was kidnapped a few days after birth by Gothel. Rapunzel is being used by Gothel to keep her young. Gothel is keeping Rapunzel locked away in a tower far away and every year on a specific day she sees floating lights. And one year on this specific day Rapunzel decides she wants to go see the floating lights.

Rapunzel noticed that every year on her birthday the floating lights are released into the air and she was very passionate about these lights but Mother Gothel wouldn't let her go see them. She sent Mother Gothel on a mission and she planned to leave the tower and go see them.

Meeting the Mentor

While Flynn Ryder was running from the guards he found Rapunzel's tower and went inside. In exchange for the satchel back he agreed to take her to see the floating lights and he was her guide.

Crossing the Threshold

Rapunzel leaves the tower once Mother Gothel left which is forbidden. And she sets out to complete a mission of her own.

Rapunzel came across a building called The Snuggly Duckling. When Rapunzel first got here everyone was against her but eventually they all warmed up to her. There were also guards still looking for Flynn Ryder so they had to hide and get help from the Snuggly Ducklings to escape.

Approach to the Inmost Cave

When Rapunzel and Flynn were running and made it into the town and explored, dancing and singing before going to see the lights.

The Supreme Ordeal

Rapunzel gets back home and starts to put everything together. She realizes that the floating lanterns were for her and that she was taken by Mother Gothel. Flynn tried to save her but Mother Gothel stabs Flynn.

Reward

Rapunzel's tears and singing saves Flynn Ryder from dying. And they are then reunited together.

Flynn and Rapunzel go back to the village so Rapunzel can reunite with her parents for the first time after many years apart. Now Rapunzel lives in a kingdom with her mom, dad, and Flynn. She is the new princess. Rapunzel is finally allowed to be outside on her own.
