1: I strongly believe that loyalty has no significant in modern day scenarios. Take country, for example, they used to make deals and treaties that would supposedly stay in effect for a long period of times, or even forever. Don't get me wrong people still follow the rules for these pacts and deals, but there are numerous mistakes in history in which people or country's decided that they didn't need to be on good terms with the other country or government because they didn't get anything out of the deal. An example of this is the U.K. They were signed to the European Union. but they decide to do their own thing and withdraw for their agreement because they believe that they had enough privileges. 

2: Yes, loyalty is more important than being popular or fitting else. I believe that people should like me for who I am. If they don't like you for you are then, you aren't into the right group of friends. I would rather have real friends that appreciate me for who I am than fake friends who like me for something else. Let's suppose, that you have recently been hanging out with a new friend. The issue is they don't like one of my friends. I would stay loyal to my previous friend, but I would still hang out with my new friend. Fitting in is not always something good. If everyone is doing something ridiculous, you don't have to do it. Just be you!

1. My first prediction is that there will be some serious action at the rumble. There is going to be a rumble in which the socs and the greasers will have a fight. Ponyboy was talking to Randy, one of Bob's best friends and they seem to have had a good conversation. therefore I think that Randy will turn against the socs and he will be on the greaser's side. He will help fight against the socs because even though he has lots of money he finds himself, and decides he wants to be a greaser. 

2. My second prediction is that there will be death at one of the rumbles. Johnny will attend the rumble, then he will have to face off against the leader of the socs to the death. They would have an intense fist fight with punches and kicks involved, but I believe that there will be no weapons involved. There would be people huddled up in a circle and they would all cheer on who they thought was going to win. Once Johnny would lose in the rumble and die,  everyone would run away to hide all the evidence. I predict this because I know there will be something big happening at the rumble.

3. Another prediction, Is that Johnny and Ponyboy will get separated because they have now been discovered as heroes, but at the same time they are also juvenile delinquents. They will spend there time in foster homes, and they would escape their houses and try to find the gang and continue to live their lives like they were before the got separated. They will later get caught and they will be put in other homes, but they will be watched more closely. They will then later escape and they will be reunited with their game, and they will build a new house in which the gang will live in. They won't get caught but they will constantly be running away from the police. I believe this will happen because Johnny and Ponyboy were talking about being split up because they were now discovered by the police late in chapter 7.

4.  I predict that at the rumble there will be police members that show up to the scene. Once the police show up, both of the gangs will try to run away, but their members will be caught by the police. They will then be locked up inside there local problem. The rest of the book is the members of the gang coming together to escape prison. In the end, they will escape prison but only if they work together. They will try to escape one time, but their attempt will fail, because they decided to work against each other, instead of working together. They will then decide to work together and their second attempt will succeed. They will change their identities and they will then get an education and a job because they will realize that a life of crime is never the way to go.

After all, the greasers got ready and dressed they head over to a parking lot and there, they lined up side by side. Then the socs arrive in 4 cars and they come out with 22 of their members. There is a total of 20 greasers, which is a pretty fair fight in their opinion. They then later agreed to fight without any weapons or any other items other than their fist.  Darry like usual started a rumble by challenging any member of the socs. One of Darry's teammates, back when he was in high school. His name was Paul Holden. A familiar voice said "hold up", which was enough to get Darry distracted. Paul saw that Darry was distracted and he didn't miss the opportunity he swung right at Darry's jaw, then the chaos started and everyone started to fight. Since Ponyboy was the youngest one he decided to fight the person that was the closest to his size, which was much taller than him. Ponyboy was getting strangled by a soc so Darry decided to help him by punching him really hard. Darry at a disadvantage because he could only use one arm so ponyboy helped him by fighting alongside him. Ponyboy was getting kicked very hard because he was pulling on the hair of the soc that Darry was fighting. Dany pushed him back and everyone fell back.  Then the socs started to run toward their cars so they could get away. The greasers felt really proud that they scared away the socs, but at the same time, they have some injuries. Tim Shepard, the leader of the allied greaser's gang had a broken nose, Steve had broken three ribs, and Two-bit had a busted hand and blood streaming down the rest of his face.

It is essential to have some tragic events, not only in this novel but also in others. There are very tragic events that happen in this past to chapters. Dallas Winston dies trying to escape from the police and Johnny Cade died in the hospital as a result of getting severely burned because he tried to save kids who were in a burning church. There are tragic events because we need to learn a lesson from a story. In this particular novel, S.E Hinton is trying to tell us that gang violence, is never the way to go because it can cause very bad things, such as members of ones gang dying. If there was no gang violence there would have never been deaths or devastating events and rumbles taking place in the community. Another reason why authors include tragic events is that they want to make sure the reader stays captivated in the book. The more the reader is captivated, the reader wants to read on. The more the reader would like to read on, the more discussion and reading time they spend on their book. The more time they spent reading her book the more curious they are about finding out what happens next. The things is, the book has already ended, so they have to purchase the next book and so forth. Therefore, more of her books are sold and she can continue to make a living off of being an author. Although this wasn't her case in particular because she decided to write this book for pleasure, and not necessarily for profits. A connection to this would be the giver. The society is a utopian one until it takes a rapid turn, and you want to know what happens next!

1.  The first use of imagery is that natures first green is gold. Robert is telling us that we are in a scene where the weather is very nice. He talks about the colour of these leaves which is gold which doesn't last for a long time. In fact, he says it only lasts for an hour. He also talks about the garden of Eden where it sank to grief because Adam and Eve chose to eat the apple. The leaf was once gold when Adam and Eve had not chosen to eat the apple. We all know that didn't last forever and then they took the fruit. He also talks about dawn going to day. He is telling us that life moves on and that nothing is eternal. He confirms this in the last sentence when he says that nothing gold can stay. 

2. Robert is suggesting many things throughout his use of imagery. He writes that everything is once at its prime, in this case, it is the leaves that are gold. He talks about the gold hue that is hard to hold. He is telling us that nothing good lasts forever. In fact, he tells us it lasts for a short time. He writes that life will continue to be the same, there will be a day, there will be night, and that nothing is eternal. 

3. This relates to the outsider's characters in many ways. Everything only lasts for a certain amount of time. An example of this is the death of two of the greaser's gang members. These young children chose to live a life in which they steal, smoke, and do other illegal activities. These gangsters thought that it was all going to be alright for them. Sure, they got into trouble with the police a couple of times but, they hadn't got in serious consequences. It was only a matter of time until something bad would happen. Johnny died because he burned down a church and he saved a group of kids but it was his fault in the first place. He then had to go to the hospital where he later died. Dallas Winston later died because he was stealing from the supermarket and the police asked him to stop repeatedly. He refused to do so, therefore the police shot him. Everything seems so fun and enjoyable until something bad happens and the leaf falls to the ground.
