By combining mathematical equations and statistical methods we can draw simplistic reasoning to many of the common real-world phenomena that we observe. 

These phenomena can specifically delve into more specific concepts - whether it be as simple as the operation of the circuitry in home setups, at which I first realised upon a powerup to different methods used to improve and enhance operations efficiencies in a manufacturing setup.

As I wanted to ask more, I began asking into my parents thought process through the various pieces of evidence that led to that belief and the means by which they combine together fascinated me, as I began looking into the renown 1MDB case and the mastermind plan within that. Also, the recent cases of murder and the court proceedings such as the George Floyd case and the arguments of both the prosecutor and the defense alongside their pieces of evidence is quite fascinating.

As I grew up, I developed a liking for baking as a therapeutic hobby. Later, I read an article about how the ingredients change the texture and the science behind it. From then on, I treated my baking endeavours like experiments, noticing changes in texture due to different quantities of certain ingredients which I knew were caused by specific interactions between molecules. As a result, I really like topics such as biological molecules, immunity and organic synthesis because they link to a variety of fields from food science to pharmacology there is a certain problem-solving aspect to them that I like.

Reading about complex and intricate surgical procedures that can substantially impact people's lives has been very intriguing, especially in books such as Complications by Atul Gawande. Finding out more about the field of palliative medicine has been very influential for me, and learning about the betterment of care for conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis led me to write a literature review on the topic in my elective, and the research process allowed me to explore much more in the field. And in terms of a career, I would look to learn new skills and information continuously, and be able to apply my knowledge creatively and usefully on a daily basis, which I think I could experience through medicine.
