Japan industrialized because they didn't want world superpowers to come and ruin their cherished traditions. They possessed an ancient culture in which they were very proud of. They saw this new way of life as a threat to their way of life. However, they saw that the world was revolving around these industrial ideas so they took some western inventions so that they don't fall behind. There weren't many specific details about what inventions nor raw materials Japan has used or exported.

Despite the revival of shipbuilding in India, the oppressive British rule caused a massive decrease in the shipbuilding of this region. They were able to do this since the British navy has taken over the Indian Ocean. These areas are also very rich in iron. The people of this area used to have prospered by using this natural resource. However the British put on heavy tariffs which caused the people to find it not meaningful to mine the iron and engage in any economic metalworks. The people of India later on would decide to revolt against the British. This caused the British to shut down all the Indian iron industries. This caused the industrial powers to flux.

Industrialization was really booming at this time. Since many factories were getting popular, many workers were needed. However, the workers are often in bad working conditions. Workers often get hurt on the job or get exhausted. Thus, resulting in a demand of slaves. The African Slave Trade was still going after Europe's exploration. The slaves would work on farms supplying food for workers. They would also make tropical oils that would help run machines. The slaves had cotton and tobacco and more. This affected Africa by decreasing population.

Industrialization actually started in Britain. The reason why Britain could have started Industrialization was of coal and water. The first thing that got industrialized was the textiles. Many inventions were made to help textile production go faster. Inventions like the water frame and spinning jenny help many factories boom. Most of these factories were water powered, but later became steam powered because of burning a lot of coal. This made Britain wealthy, grown in population, and more job opportunities.

So, immigrants were needed to work in the United States. It brought America a higher population and more money. Inventions and raw materials:N/A.

South America during the Industrialization Revolution is unknown, however, we can make inferences on what might have happened. During these times South America was trying to gain their independence from Spain. This might have been the reason why they were not focused on industrialization that much. There is also barely any exploration in South America, so natural resources and inventions are unknown as well. Effects in South America is also unknown.
