Four of the boys, John, Shep, Logan, and Henry were standing around the dead body of their friend Grant. Grant had been shot with a rifle in the center of his chest where there is a small hole that blood poured out of. The boys have mixed emotions. Some are crying, some are standing still, in shock at what they see. There is panic and madness. None of the boys know what to do. They think that this accident will be seen like it was done on purpose due to all the drugs and alcohol in their system.

Logan got really scared that night, also they were all drinking last night so they broke a law and they can be charged for it. More Evidence- “ logan pulled grant off to the side and they argued. Logan said, ‘you were supposed to deliver it two days ago. Where is it”
Shep: brief description of evidence- Shep claims he didn’t kill grant. Shep got in a fight with grant the night before he died. Fought over a girl (kate). Grant pranked shep switching their numbers. More Evidence- “... when i asked him about it, he laughed. Said now that i had primed her up, he’d happily step in and close the deal for me. So I punched him.”
John Michael: brief description of evidence- John Michael sells drugs. All the parties happens at his house. He lets all the drugs, drinks and stuff happen in his house. Got in a fight with grant. More Evidence-“ y’all are shooting things, drinking, taking pills, smoking joints”
Henry: brief description of evidence-Him and grant fought the night before grant died. Over a girl apparently. More Evidence- Henry got right up in grants face. They argued for a few  minutes, pushing each other”

However officers of the law may carry handguns without needing a permit. Louisiana has a pretty casual stance towards guns so it's sometimes referred to as a gun loving state. Louisiana is ranked as the fourth most dangerous state in the country. 

Drinking at the age of 18 is allowed at a place such as a bar if an adult like a parent/guardian is present. If alcohol is being sold at a bar, there must be some sort of manager present that is of age (18-21 at least). If a driver under 21 has a BAC (blood alcohol concentration) over 0.02 then it is a violation to the law. Underage purchase, possession and consumption of alcohol can take away someone’s driver license from 90 to 365 days.
