Some non-game venues (including those that first closed and then reopened due to COVID-19) at Paradise City Casino Resort (pictured) near Incheon International Airport will be temporarily closed "until further notice" from Wednesday (July 1).

According to the resort's online notice, the place to close is a boutique hotel called Art Paradiso, which includes the Sea Mer Spa, Wonderbox theme park, Croma nightclub, and restaurant Cerase. 파워볼사이트

Paradise City says the move is aimed at "participating" in the South Korean government's "quarantine program" and reducing and preventing COVID-19.

Sea Mer, Wonderbox and Croma were among the earlier closures, according to a notice on the resort's website in March.

"With regard to COVID-19, Paradise City is taking strict measures on the hygiene and safety of all facilities in line with the government's social distancing plan," the venue said in an updated message.

Paradise City started in 2017 with a hotel as well as a foreigner-only casino. The complex has since gradually added non-game facilities. It is a venture between Paradise, the Korean operator of foreigner-only casinos, and Sega Sammy Holdings, Inc., a Japanese entertainment giant.

At the end of the first quarter, Paradise revealed that it would close its four casino sites for two weeks on Mar. 24 following South Korea's efforts to curb the further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea. Some of its non-gaming services, such as entertainment venues, were also shut down at the time. The company reopened its casinos on April 13 on Jeju Island. It resumed operations at the remaining three gaming venues on April 20.

South Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare's website said the number of new COVID-19 cases increased by 42 per day as of midnight on Monday. There have been 12,757 confirmed cases and 282 deaths across the country since Jan. 3.

On June 20, the number of patients in Korea reached a three-week high, increasing by 67 every day, according to the Associated Press.
