         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;After graduating from university, she joined the Dutch resistance, where her secret name became Hannie. she terrorized nazi members across the Netherlands for nearly four years, earning her the nickname by the nazis "the girl with the red hair." during her time in the resistance she was able to work with some of the other excellent resistors like Freddie Oversteegen. </div>]]></description>

Her bravery in rebelling against a much greater and more powerful nazi Germany. she was greatly outnumbered and it was also an extremely dangerous job yet she did it very well. she was one of the first and only women in the resistance movement which only furthered her achievements.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hannie Schaft was a threat to the Nazis, and Adolf Hitler ordered her to be killed. One member of the nazis pretended to be a member of the resistance and got the address of schafts parents and the were captured and sent to a concentration camp.she almost turned herself in but the resistance was able to stop her. she then took even more dangerous missions and was eventually captured. her last words were " I'm a better shot," as she was shot to death. She was brutally assassinated on <strong>&nbsp;</strong>April 17, 1945, in Bloemendaal, Netherlands, where she is buried today.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
