Europe was not very nice and was very cocky in many different ways. Fist they tried to take over smaller countries and nations to get power and money from them. A lot of bad events happened during this time such as invading Africa. The Europeans invaded Africa and took away all of the peoples rights that live there. They took away supplies such as coal and many things that they would use for their industrial needs, this ended up as the scramble for Africa. This is very bad because a lot of lives were taken and this is took away a lot of animals lives and was very uncivilized. Then they got led by the army to Asia and began a big conflict and war. This was called the Boxer rebellion. This was when the Chinese people fought back and tried to take back their land from the Europeans. The Europeans were very inappropriate and harsh by taking pictures and cutting the Chinese people heads off and putting them onto poles and etc. They took supplies from the Chinese as they did with Africa. All of these acts were just to secure land or either get supplies and resources for Europe. This was a horrible idea because they started a war and killed innocent people because they were going to their land and opposing a threat to them. They also did this to prove they were more powerful and to just try to show who is more dominant out of every country.
