~Rethinking the role of teachers: teachers are expected to adapt to the technology-based approaches. Teachers must now take on more responsibility-- Responsible for addressing social and emotional factors, mentoring students, model responsible global citizenship and many others
~Teaching computational Thinking: As curriculum builds, the development of complex thinking builds as well. This is something that teachers and future teachers must be prepared to do for students. It is essential for young people to learn how to be computational thinkers
~The Achievement Gap: Just as educators have seen before, an achievement gap when using STEAM education can still exist. Our students all come from different backgrounds, experiences, and families that may effect their connection with STEAM education
~Sustaining Innovation: Resources, funding, and time are all components that are limited and could be difficult to sustain for long periods of time
