I had a hard time with the details of the couches, and achieving symmetry between the two subjects. I didn't intend for the couches to be slightly diagonal from each other, but I had the idea to create lines in order to bring them together. I had a very fun time using sharpies to mimic how shiny surfaces look. I used my 80's polaroid camera as my subject, which I liked because of it's details and unique shape. I though t it would be cool to replace the lens and viewfinder with mismatched eyes in order to achieve a more abstract effect.
