         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Strawberries are classified as berries, such as blueberries and blackberries.<br><br>Strawberries provide the following vitamins: Magnesium, Phosphorous, Calcium, Potassium, Folate, Vitamin K.&nbsp;<br><br>They are mainly grown in the regions of Salinas, Watsonville, Santa Maria, Oxnard and Orange County in California.&nbsp;<br><br>Strawberries grow best in warm temperatures, mainly ranging from 75 to 85 degrees.&nbsp;<br><br>The primary growing season of strawberries is late spring to early fall.&nbsp;<br><br>I enjoy strawberries and cream and it is my favorite way of having the fruit prepared.&nbsp;<br><br>A short recipe that includes strawberries is strawberry shortcake which requires a vanilla cake, sliced strawberries and whipped cream to assemble. <br><br></div>]]></description>
