We created this padlet for you to use it as a tool during this year. We - the teachers - are going to upload different materials so that you can have them as complement.

First of all, before starting writing, you have to decide WHAT you are going to write, WHO you are going to write about, WHEN it happened and WHERE.

In order to you to know how to organize your thoughts, here you have an example of an outline that you can use.

• You have to divide your piece into four paragraphs: an introduction, a body (2 paragraphs) and a conclusion.

• Always write a TITLE!

INTRODUCTION: Setting the scene - describes the situation at the beginning, you describe the time, the place and say what the main character was doing.

BODY: You have to describe what happened, the incident, the main trouble.

CONCLUSION: You have to describe what happened in the end, how the situation was fixed and the main character feelings. You can also add something that the main character learnt about the whole situation.

Besides, the example given is just an example. Please, do not copy everything.

• Paragraphs: REMEMBER every time you write a full stop (punto y aparte) you are AUTOMATICALLY creating another paragraph. Please, just make four.

• Linkers: You have different examples on page 16 on the book and here, on Padlet you have more. REMEMBER to look out how to use them.

• Clauses: underline them.

• Time clauses: while/when

• Reason clauses: because

• Purpose clauses: so that.
