My infancy days were a fragile and delicate time. I depended on my parents for care and protection. I trusted them completely and often cried when they were away. I felt safe and loved, and I am grateful for my family.

Pre K Life

In preschool, I interacted with new people and made friends. I tried different activities such as dancing, academics, sports and other school events. A memorable experience I had during preschool was joining our school's musical excerpt "The Wizard of Oz". Meeting my ates and kuyas, who were also part of it, was fun because they took care of me during practice. At a young age, I really liked studying and reading. I was a very obedient student and always listened in class, because of it, I made it to the top of my class and was the best at reading. Coming into this new environment answered many of my questions as a curious child eager to learn about the world.

In elementary school, I balanced academics with my extracurricular activities. I was an active student during these times and wanted to gain new experiences. I joined the student council, became an athlete, and participated in school events, which helped me gain confidence and value teamwork, responsibility and respect. Friendships also became important to me, as I met new people, especially my seniors, who were very nice to me and became closer to my classmates. A memorable experience was joining the student council in 4th grade, where I realize my passion for leadership at such a young age. I also joined community engagements like coastal cleanups, visit to the home for the aged, taught students in Magtuod Elementary School, etc. These experiences opened my eyes to new lessons and shaped me into a more curious and responsible learner.

In my adolescent years, the most important experiences were entering junior high and senior high. The pandemic made these years challenging, and I struggled with confidence and was so lost during these times. But returning to F2F classes, I promised myself that I would become strong and that little by little, I would gain back my confidence. Studying in AdDU pushed me out of my comfort zone, through activities like being part of the student body (PASG), joining Indaktenista, and becoming our com spoof's event head last school year. These experiences helped me discover more about who I am. I was so happy that I took the risk, set aside my introverted self, and took all kinds of opportunities. I formed deeper friendships, faced challenges, and learned how to manage emotions better. But I will never forget the memories I made back in junior high with my OG crew. Especially our musical era and prom, it was the best experience of my life. These experiences helped me grow into a more confident young adult, ready to explore the world with the new opportunities that are given to me
