Right away the author describes her and you can tell that she's kind of a hoe,  every other character can tell that she's flirty and so a lot of them try to stay away from her since they know shes married to curley and he has a lot of power. she's described kind of as a model back then and she has beautiful clusters of hair and red fingernails. She doesn't want to stay home so she lounges around and then walks in on Lennie alone in the barn and talks to him but he says ¨I can't tend no rabbits if I talk to you¨ because george doesn't want Lennie to get in trouble with Curley. they start talking and she explains to lennie how she doesnt like Curley and he's not nice. she learns a little more about Lennie and then puts his hand on her head and tells him to feel her hair. That was a mistake because Lennie felt how soft it was and messed up her hair and wouldn't let go so she screamed and got mad, Lennie then panicked because he didn't want to get in trouble. Her most important chapter was Chapter 5 since she died that chapter. She was flirty to a lot of the other characters even though she was married but we learned that Curley was more of an obstacle than anything.
